@Abystus, anything about my request for SMB1 from post #352:

    Super Mario Bros.
    • Get an Extra Life for every 10 / 20 / 30 / 50 / 150 / 200 / 250 coins collected instead for every 100 coins.

Also, anything about issue on "Enemies Continually Hit Anywhere (Based on and includes Nolberto82's "Hit Anywhere" code.)" code for "Adventure Island 3" game?

So therefore I'd like to beat Ghostbusters. But when I play the game, I don't really even know what to do, where to go, etc. I don't know how they expect people to figure out what they have to do in that game. And the game seems really shity. So I'd like a code where I can just skip to the final boss, which I'm assuming is Zuul.

Do you think this game is decent?

    Thanks for the codes.
The game is alright now that it has codes that make ghost collection easier, gas collection easier, along with having more fun when in the driving stages. I always hated this game due to how it is laid out. When you play Ghostbusters you expect to play as one of the Ghostbusters, and start blasting away in either an overhead or side-scrolled view, but this game is way off the mark. I remember being confused as a kid what to do, but after playing it a bit it kinda makes a little sense now.

The first screen you see (map) is just a map of the city, and your icon (should have been a car) basically moves you around the city. The first thing you need to do is get a beam, and trap from the store at the top right. After that you basically visit only the flashing houses collecting ghosts (for money), and then emptying them out at headquarters (bottom of the screen). In between all of this you drive to each destination dodging cars, collecting gas (if you run out your trip is reset), and collecting more gear from the store as needed (a lot of it isn't needed, but they are upgrades to what you have).

When the counter (PK Energy) at the bottom of the map screen gets to like 9000, ZUUL becomes available to fight (you have to get as much equipment as you can before this as you will not be able to collect anymore ghosts for money beyond this point). After that you just go up stairs (there are codes to speed this up), and kill the final boss (there are codes to speed this up as well). As far as codes that will get you right to ZUUL, it would take finding the menu modifier for the game (haven't found it yet unfortunately). I'll take another look, but can't promise ill be able to find it.

When you say skipping to the final boss do you mean access the Zuul Stage (center of the map) from the beginning? If so try this:

    Ghostbusters (U) GG FCEUX

    Code:
Enter Zuul Building Anytime (Will need beam to enter. Will disable access to all other normal buildings excluding the store, gas station, and Ghostbuster's Headquarters. Also stops Marshmallow Man from appearing.)
    GZOIXTEI
    GZVTGPAP
    SEEXLLVG

Drive Off-Road (Removes left and right road barriers.)
    ASEAOYEL
    ASEEOYEP

Well, you can play it so you can experience it yourself. But if you want to enjoy it, it's best if you just play Mario 2.

    haha

That is crazy though that he can press a button 16 times in 1 second.

The history passages about both games that Rey posted was interesting. I knew alittle bit of that already from my previous reading of the history.dat file of MAME for those games.

I was going to ask if it was worth playing (Doki Doki Panic)... but my question has already been answered...which is no.

If Japan would have made sequels/series out of Doki Doki Panic, I think it would've done pretty good and would have got ported to the U.S.
There was only one Doki Doki Panic. It was absolutely not a success in Japan. The game only came out for the Famicom Disk System, which did not sell anywhere near as much as the Famicom. The game was made by Miyamoto (creator of Mario and Zelda) to promote some Fuji TV characters, that's why the original game has an arabian setting. The game was then retooled and made into a Mario game. If you play the original game (Doki Doki), you'll see it's rough around the edges and not really fun.
Luckily, since the only thing Fuji TV owned were the 4 main characters, we got to keep awesome enemies like the Shy Guys, Birdos and Bomb Ombs.

There's no Hudson Island, the game is called Adventure Island. The origins of the game is a bit complicated. Originally there was a game called Wonder Boy for the Arcade made by a company called Escape, and owned by Sega. From that game, Sega continued the Wonder Boy/Monster Land series and Hudson Soft then teamed with Escape to make a Wonder Boy for the NES, but since Sega owned the name, they created the Adventure Island series for the NES (both games are pretty much the same). The game in Japan is called "Takahashi Meijin's Adventure Island", Takahashi Meijin was a Japanese dude who could press a button 16 times in one second in the game Star Soldier, he then became Hudson's "face" or spokesperson, which in turn was converted into the hero of the Adventure Island games. In the USA the character is called Master Higgins, but in Japan he's called Takahashi Meijin, just like the real person. They both even look alike :P

In Japan there was a fourth Adventure Island game, that was more like Metroid (or Super Adventure Island 2). There was also a spinoff for the Famicom called Takahashi Meijin Bugette Honey, but it's pretty crappy and EVIL.

I'm not sure if this issue existed with Nolberto82's original code or not. I will have to look into why this is happening when I get a bit of free time. Glad you liked the other codes.

The game uses an obscure calculation routine for fruit collected (Milk/Meat/Lives/Bonus codes), so some of these may be out of my grasp, but I will give them another look in a bit.
