No problem man, glad to be of some help again. I thought there will not be much interest in the retro scene, but I see is still active and that makes me happy. So, if it doesn't work for other characters just tell me and I will go up to those too.

Seems to work fine for that secondary character. Thanks for taking the time to look into it. Having fits with this Hit Anywhere due to it wanting to collect items/enter vehicles everywhere as well. I would just disable that code, but it's part of the hit anywhere itself, so disabling it might not be an option. I will credit your codes if they end up going into the final Hit Anywhere code when it's completedOriginally posted by VisitntX View PostI see now, this game is really weird.
Each character seems to have a separete ram address for the blinking status and the code to that ram is also independient. This is for the character you pass me on that save.

For what I saw in this one it could work with the other secundary characters.

Still only working with the first character. I have uploaded a state with another character in use.Originally posted by VisitntX View PostOk Abystus. Try this one:

It's based on the "blinking status". Should be clean enough, didn't tested it with the other characters, I beat Attica and then keep going with the same. Please, check it and confirm me if it works.Attached Files

Pretty much you go with the first character until you reach the end of the first level. After that you are able to select from 3 (including the one you have been using) for the following stages. If you can find a code based on their "Blinking Invincibility" state after they die, then it would most likely work for all characters.Originally posted by VisitntX View PostThat's what I mean. Great man. Thanks. So, each level is a different character?

I found the Hit Anywhere (ROM addresses) based on the enemy health addresses (by Rune) listed below:Originally posted by VisitntX View PostBTW, you track that after a RAM address? If so, can you pass me that RAM for hit anywhere? I mean for WildCats.

I just set a break on write, and backtracked from there. I appreciate you looking into the invincibility again.Last edited by Abystus; 11-19-2011, 04:57:16 PM.

Sure, no problem. I will do it tonight. Let's see what I can do for that game. Great hit anywhere codes you're doing man, btw.

Unfortunately I don't have a ram address for it. I may look into this game a little later this evening. Since your back, I wanted to let you know I tried out your invincibility code "C2C5-CDCB" for Jim Lee's WildC.A.T.S, and found it to only work for the first character you play as. I was actually going to include your code in one I was making (Hit Anywhere), however since it doesn't work for all characters I am finding myself looking elsewhere.Originally posted by VisitntX View PostThanks Abystus. BTW, do you have the RAM for that code to stop enemies to get powerups? If so maybe I could give it a shot.
I was hoping for a working invincibility based off of the "Blink" state after you die so that it would be universal for all characters. My Hit Anywhere code is allowing enemies/backgrounds to hit you from anywhere as well, thus why I'm in search of a working invincibility code for all characters. Think you might be interested in revisiting the game to make such a code (I'm having difficulties finding the ram address that controls the invincibility state after death)?Last edited by Abystus; 11-19-2011, 04:19:55 PM.

No problem. About your asking for "Infinite Missiles" code for Battle City "Missile Tank" (Ch) hack, on games Tank08 - Tank14 and Tank22 - Tank28 on the Game Select Screen you'll start with 3 missiles.Originally posted by Abystus View PostI attempted some of them, but with no luck. I don't think the "Enemies Can't Collect Powerups" will be doable since your tank uses the same routines as the enemies. I can do the "Infinite Missiles" if you provide a state where your tank has acquired them. I am currently taking a break from NES hacking (getting burnt out), so please excuse my absence from this thread.Last edited by Unicode; 11-19-2011, 03:09:01 PM.
