Abystus, I please you for a help about one problem for NES game "Contra Force". When I play any stage, pressing Start button opening the menu where you can change your current character. But for any unknown reasons, that menu can't be opened while I fight boss in Stage 2. During fighting bosses in all other stages - stages 1, 3, 4 and 5 (the last stage), when I press Start button, I can open the menu for changing my character. But when I fighting the boss in Stage 2, the menu for changing current character is not accessible - pressing Start during battle with that boss does nothing. I find that thing for most brutal because I can't go into menu and change characters while I fighting with boss in that Stage 2 - as if there the menu is disabled. I am having a bit of difficulty making a hit anywhere because with this game you and your enemies share the same hit routine, so I'm trying to sort it out atm. I like the idea of Unicode's request for a Game Genie code for (NES) Contra that allows the player to "walk through electric barrier" before having to destroy the 'orbs' in Stage 2 (Base 1) and Stage 4 (Base 2).Last edited by OldSchoolGamer; 08-20-2011, 08:38:41 PM.

When all orbs in the current room are destroyed, the electrical barrier in that room turns off and then I can go advance in the next room with pressing Up from direction pad. Whether is possible a GameGenie allowing the player can passes the electrical barriers without destroying all orbs in every room, i.e. while they're enabled yet? If that code would cause an any issues in the game, please tell me.
