      G29A-JA7C
Ecco accelerates faster when using just the directional pad.

      931A-JAE2
Ecco has a much higher top speed when using just the directional pad. Code must be turned on at the very beginning of the game (before you swim out of the cave).

      • For those of you that have played Ecco: The Tides of Time (Ecco 2), I'm sure you remember how difficult it was jumping up to higher areas, timing jumps just right to jump over obstacles, etc. The code below makes those chores much easier. And no need to use the "Charge/Dash" button to go faster. Ecco swims his normal speed when in the water, but as soon as he's at the surface of the water, he goes into overdrive and immediately speeds up and jumps really high. Lots of fun to play around with. I will be playing this game for a while. :-)

Ecco jumps much higher. This code makes it much easier to jump over obstacles and to get to high places.

        • Update on the Ecco the Dolphin (Ecco 1) codes above... I changed the code description because the affects are only when you use the directional pad (ie. not when you press C).

Ecco swims through rocks by pressing the B (Dash) button. May have to press the B (Dash) button more than once to get through some rocks. Code must be turned on at the very beginning of the game (before you swim out of the cave).

              CC7A-TAB8
Ecco swims much faster when using the C button. You can also swim through or over some rocks. I found myself stuck inside rocks a few times, but was always able to get out by pressing C and changing directions.

                • Kid Chameleon is one of the best games ever made for the Genesis. Still enjoy playing it. The codes below give all 10 characters the ability to fly. Will start working on codes to give all of them other abilities next (climbing walls, weapons, etc).

                  AL2T-AA6T +
                  ALYA-AA3Y
All characters can fly. Just jump and start tapping the "C" button. Notes: If you're the Juggernaut or Micromax, don't fly up to the very top of the screen or you'll die. If you're Micromax, don't press "jump" and "C" together while under blocks or you'll die (just press jump to get the blocks). Code can be turned on or off at any time.

Man I remember this game it was awesome and hard as hell with some ridiculous amount of stages too, a walk thru walls would definitley be helpful and possibly a code that doesn't cause instant death on hazards like lava.

Will look into that helder. Now that you mention it, I do remember the levels with the lava. A code for that would be nice.

                      • From the areas that I checked, lava and spikes don't kill you instantly. There is already an official Galoob code that gives you "almost" infinite HP that works good for those hazards.

I made a code that lets most characters climb walls by tapping C, but it only appears to work with Gens Tracer. The code is $00767E:6002. I'm not going to add it to the db because of the problems it causes with most emulators (instant death when you touch a wall, etc). Since it works in Gens Tracer, I can "trace" the problems in the other emulators. :-(

Did manage to get one more code done...

                        Kid Chameleon (Genesis)

                        RF5T-A6WJ +
                        BDWA-AA7J
Most characters get the ability to shoot a ray gun that reveals hidden blocks (just like EyeClops) by pressing C. Works on: Kid Chameleon, Cyclone, Red Stealth, EyeClops, Berzerker, and Micromax. Note: With Red Stealth, if you tap the C button once, he swings his sword, if you tap the C button quickly two times, he shoots the ray gun. Code can be turned on or off at any time.

Most characters can shoot cannon balls by pressing C. Works on: Kid Chameleon, Cyclone, Juggernaut, Berzerker, and Micromax. It also works on EyeClops, but he can die if you press C while you're touching a wall. Code can be turned on or off at any time.

                          • I didn't even know about the "Diamond" powers in Kid Chameleon until now. Makes the game even funner.

Always have the stronger diamond powers (even if you don't have any diamonds). Just press A + Start to use it.

Each character has 2 different diamonds powers. One costs more to use and is a better/stronger power than the other. Some of them are: Invincibility, slower enemies, extra lives, more HP, diamonds that seek out and destroy enemies, etc.

I'm glad to hear I wasn't the only one who played the game and didn't know about it. :-)
