While on foot, press UP to climb. Works anywhere, even without a ladder. This code is mostly for fun, as it causes other problems. If you climb up into rocks, you'll be teleported up to the next area.

Enemies always drop something (heart, weapon, etc) when you kill them (side view).

      AVGT-JA6W
All enemies and hazards are gone (side view). Turn code off before you go into boss rooms.

Is it possible to find a code for making the bosses do less damage on difficulty 7 and 8

        Like Sagat's Tiger Uppercut
        Bison's Hard Kicks Punches,

Ummm, what about the Monopoly codes from a week or two ago? Never heard from you on those. Did they work?

They both worked. I was surprised that the computer could last for a while even if it begins with $0 cash!

Btw, no dice with the Blaster Master 2 side-levels. I had a theory but haven't tested it yet.

Thanks Rune. My hunch is that the computer does the same thing we did as kids when playing Monopoly... hiding money somewhere so your Brothers/Sisters/friends think you're broke. :-)

I gave up on codes to start on the top-down levels for Blaster Master 2. I started playing the top-down level while searching RAM values, but couldn't figure out the addresses for the level.

You won't be able to go any higher than $65,535 (it's a 2 byte value). I limited it to 65,400 because if you go too high, it will reset to zero. It might be possible to change a few instructions to increase the value from 2 to 4 bytes. I think that would allow around 4 billion.

                    • Very unusual programming for how this game selects levels. I made codes for every level, but not every section (lazy). Included PAR and Game Genie codes. The first code will let you advance to the very next section just by pausing the game. This will let you easily checkout every section and level in the game.

NOTE: you'll find a complete list of all the level numbers starting at this ROM address: $00A002 (I'm too lazy to make/list all the codes).

Thanks again. I knew this game was wacky, kind of like how the characters in the Danger Room are generated in Marvel - War of The Gems (SNES). That's another challenging hack, by the way, that is only half understood.

                          • retrogamer, I was never a fan of the SF series, so I'm not familiar with any of that stuff you're asking for. I would take too much time for me to learn all that stuff.
