I hope development of Artemis continues the progress so far in such a short time has been amazing!

I also think more advertising and a GUI version will help get a lot more people to use Artemis...

I want to sorry for not helping in terms of testing games for compatibly and producing new codes but I broke my ps2 a while back http://www.gshi.org/vb/showthread.php?t=3738
and I suffered a HDD failure last week so I lost most of my stuff, please I'm begging you don't stop developing this already great tool as somebody has already said I agree that I think the fact it doesn't have a GUI yet turns people away, I also think it would be a good idea to post active code videos on youtube to show what can be hacked to drum up interest and inspire people to hack themselves also post you codes on multiple websites like CMP and codetwink as people outside this site won't know about your hacked codes.

Of course it is! What You've done is piece of a good job - a reallly good job.

Sad what You say. I don't know You and nothing about Your life but everyone has sometimes bad days. Please, think Your decision one more time - if You abandon this project, probably You'll never back to this.

Let's face it: there isn't much public interest in the project (users and developers), and quite often I'm asking myself why and for whom I'm doing it.
For free - for community of course - for us - for everyone who love scene (yeah, i'm an idealist ;]).
So then, don't do this! We all need You.

Sorry for my horrible english. But i couldn't be silence this time. ;]

I just want to say some words about Artemis. It's really important the further development of this project. As you can see, there isn't really a lot of utilities to use to hack codes for PS2. And a project like this that is made by people that knows about the important that is a good utility to hack codes shouldn't be stopped.

I really pray that in the future we'll be able to use artemis in a extended way to hack codes for the PS2. We really need this project to keep going on and on, improving compatibility, adding more features, making it the best hacking tool for the PS2 and the real one to use when it comes to search for codes.

Now that Misfire will be no more longer with this project we can only pray for the rest of the team to keep it up, to not low your arms as we need this utility.

So please, if you can keep working on it. Keep improving it, making it the best hacking tool for the PS2.

Cool; feel free to advertise anywhere possible. That goes for everyone else. I've done a little Artemis-parading, but I can always do more.

It is VERY much appreciated! It really is.

I thought you guys were going to advertise this more. A while back I recall somebody on this site saying something that they were going to clean this site up or something, and then go advertise Artemis. I could go around and advertise it on the codemasters-project forums along with the codetwink forums, since those are the only other forums related to gaming that I am registered on. I know there would be a large amount of people on codetwink interested in Artemis considering there have been many code requests and people asking how to find codes. Since had I a troublesome time trying to get Artemis working again and finally got it going, I could probably explain to them how to at least get it working on Windows Vista.

I'd give more input, but I never have much time to myself to test things. I haven't even had the chance to download version 0.41 yet because I can't seem to get a chance to use anybody's laptop computer around me since it's a royal pain to get any wireless internet connection around where I am.

Take it easy, misfire. GSHI, and Artemis, will be here whenever you're back on solid ground. You'll be missed.

    Break

Due to recent events in the project and in my private life, I'm taking a break from Artemis/ps2rd.

I cannot continue maintaining Artemis/ps2rd the way I've done so far. It's too time-consuming and I don't feel that my work is appreciated. Let's face it: there isn't much public interest in the project (users and developers), and quite often I'm asking myself why and for whom I'm doing it.

There've been many mistakes in the project. For example, all discussions in an open source project should generally be public. Private messaging is the source of all evil.

Also, I'm resigning my position as the moderator of this forum.

A 0.4.1 could be useful. I get the impression people may be thinking there's a bug if they've tried running Artemis off USB and got the error message about loading cheats.txt.

It would also be cool if non working games with previous versions were tested again.
Some of them should now work fine, but we haven't any report on compatibility list since 0.3, apart from misfire and me.
