I desire my work not be in fucking vein. Hacking PS2 from the PC side is next to useless, IMO, without the ability to test the results on the fly. We had it all working, then they started changing shit, and making me update PS2CC, only to wind up disabling remote ram writes the next version. We need to dig up jimmi and get him the fix the goddamn 0.4 ELF.Originally posted by Lazy Bastard View PostBefore your post above, no one had posted in this thread since 2011...that's why it was no longer a sticky.
And yeah, the project went dormant when most of the useful cheating/hacking features were broken by its lead developer, apparently intentionally, in order to pave the way for a true debugger rather than a debugger being used for hacking purposes (unless I misunderstood).
The old (functional, useful for hacking those games that are compatible) Artemis "packages" I put together are still up on the Artemis page: http://gamehacking.org/artemis, ready to be used out of the box. As for source, it's around here and there, and I could dig up older stuff if desired.

So is anyone planning to fix the remote memory WRITE/cheat list? It was working when I first setup PS2CC, but the feature became disabled on the PS2 side when misfire starting fucking with the project.
p.s. Why isn't this a sticky anymore?

The revamp's integration of forums and main site will do a lot to remedy the problem that many users are unaware of most main site content.

We do have the latest versions of Artemis/PS2rd software up on the main site, under Community, Project Artemis: http://gamehacking.org/?s=artemis

Yeah, BountySource kind of went to shit. I had to jump through hoops last time I wanted Firefox to load it. I kind of miss the project, but I don't miss screwing around with repositories.Originally posted by dlevere View PostI need new links for Artemis...none of the bitbucket links work. Also, https://artemis.bountysource.com/download on the front page shows this error message:

This is reminding me I really need to put the data back up somewhere. However if there's something specific anybody wants before I get around to that, let me know and I'll post it here.

I knew I should have made a backup of my "PS2rd Releases" folder. The folder was accidentally deleted during a cleanup months ago. Luckily, I had these versions of PS2rd, PS2CC (I saw a mention of revision 30 by Viper a page or two back), and Artemis saved on a flash drive:
PS2rd 0.5.3

PS2CC Rev. 28

I think i've found a bug in PS2rd when I write these codes to separate cheat names
Texture Mapping isn't effected but if I put them both under the same cheat name, it works
, I'm using a scepadread memcpy mastercode the same also happens for auto-hook.
Example
SCPH-50003 V9 Europe v01.70 (27/02/2003) - Extracted OSDSYS ELF Mastercode
902536fc 0c098c37
PlayStation Driver
00365358 0000000? - Disc Speed (0=Standard, 1=Fast)
0036535C 0000000? - Texture Mapping (0=Standard, 1=Smooth)Last edited by kh2k4; 02-01-2011, 11:26:55 AM.
