Seems you're not going to make any sort of an "Enemies Automatically Die" code... I might have no choice but to forget for similar type of requests...

Just because I made a code for a different game that made enemies die when they appeared on screen, doesn't mean it can be done for every game. I already made a code for you that gets rid of lots of enemies. What fun would it be to have all the enemies gone?

Trying to add more codes so it doesn't work with the Top Secret Info would probably take way too much time to figure out. Not worth it for such a small problem that's easily avoided. I will add something to the code description so that people know not to read too many Top Secrets.

Can buy items as many times as you want in the shops. Note that if you buy lots of Top Secret Info, you should stop buying it when you start seeing gibberish all over the screen. If you keep buying Top Secret Info, the game may eventually freeze. Shops are only in the "Original Mode".

This code works fine without freezing the game, but there is again a problem with it... After purchasing several Top Secrets, when I saw a red glitched text, I've stopped and purchased a few of other items and leaved the shop screen, however the level appears with graphical errors! Turrets appearing little later in the Stage 2 also has graphical errors! If I pause the game for Character changing screen, there are no errors, but when I resume the game, graphic errors are still displayed, as changing characters doesn't seems to resolve that graphical glitch... No matter what I've tried - game works, but graphical errors after exit the shop once still appears, and nothing can remove them in any way (probably until you finish current level)...

I'm wondering if you can make this code with any routine so it make to apply for all shop items EXCEPT the Top Secrets (because seems purchasing many top Secret seems to cause these graphical errors after exit shop and returning in the level)? A mean a routine that checks what you're selected in shop screen. If you're selected Top Secrets Item - routine will sets Infinite Items to FALSE, but selecting any of other item DIFFERENT than Top Secrets - routine will sets Infinite Items to TRUE.

6. Enemies Die Automatically As They Appear On Screen. In Mercs, on both modes (Arcade and Original) there are those annoying soldiers that constantly comes from bottom end of screen and constantly goes everywhere on screen (and bumps right into player!) NON STOP! Even if you kills them with your weapon or a Mega Crash Bomb, a new soldiers will appears almost immediately and start running into you again... (If you can't make a code works for everything then a least a code that automatically kills the normal soldiers that comes a lot in every level;

Unicode, this code helps a lot with your soldier problem. Some of the soldiers (and "Bosses") are still there so the game isn't too easy.

This code is buggy! I tested it on first Shop in Stage 2 and game freezes if I try to purchase an item for more than once, even for ones different than the Top Secrets! If I try to purchase item for second time (like life extender or item refilling health), game sounds one infinite ZZZZZ sound and I have to disable this code to get unstuck, otherwise I simply cannot contunue playing the level...

Sorry about that, I've now saw Fanat's "Freeze time" code on game's page. I've now actually renamed game's page title to "Mercs (W)" only because if someone tries to search Mercs, will be unable to find the codes for this game, also, I'm doubt someone with try to search the game in database with its Japanese name instead of Mercs.

I've tested your codes and they are fine for me.

About partners I'm asking, they're in Original mode, as you start first level alone, as there no any partners in it (the first level), the first character unlocks in Level 2 or Level 3 I think if I'm not wrong, and last in unlocked and is available only in the last level (Level 8)...

Actually you could can make a few more requests for this game?

1. All Characters in Original Mode can refill Their Health Capacity up to 255 Health Units;
2. Normal Medal Pickups Worth 2 / 3 / 5 / 8 / 10 / 12 / 15 / 20 Instead of Only 1;
3. Big Medal Pickups Worth Only 2 / Only 3 / 8 / 10 / 12 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 50 / 60 / 75 / 80 Instead of 5;
4. Crossed Medal Pickups Worth Only 2 / 5 / 8 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 50 Instead of 3;
5. All characters in Original Mode starts with Maximum FirePower (Weapon Upgrade - level 8) and Speed Boost (level 8);

P.S. Helder, no luck with the "Get spheres/rings from anywhere" for Sonic 3 special stages yet. May come back to it later (have a couple more ideas).

I figured it would be a tough one since you would have to deal with the red spheres and not sure how they are coded in there along with the blue ones. Anyways I appreciate and thank you for the effort and amazing codes so far. Merry Christmas!

Note that after 10 minutes of trying, I couldn't get an opponent to steal my weapon, so I couldn't fully test these codes. However, I'm pretty sure you'll still have the weapon even if stolen.

Unicode, instead of complaining about the codes I didn't make or the codes that don't work just right, how about a simple thanks for the TON of codes that I've made for you so far. That would give the illusion that you appreciate all the time and effort I've put into all these codes.

Anyways, I'm done with the Sonic 3 codes for now...

1. Pause the game and press A for Invincibility Power-up;
Pause the game and press B for a Fire Shield;
Pause the game and press C for a Water Shield;

Can not make that code without a LOT of extra codes. Not going to do it. The "Pause and press A, B, C" codes I already made will have to do.

Can access Bonus Stage for Chaos Emeralds after Have all 7 emeralds collected; Not going to make this code (caused too many problems with Sonic 2).

2. You're new requests for Sonic 1 (for the doors and fans in SBZ and SLZ)... will probably take a look at those later.

3. As far as the problem you were having with the "Pause the game and press A, B, or C for different cheats" with Sonic 3, I told you that the code works perfectly for me with Gens and Kega Fusion so there's nothing I can do about it. How can I fix a problem if I can't find the problem?
