    Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (REV A)(Genesis)

    Can turn into Super Sonic at any time. Will only last until you run out of rings. Just press Jump to turn into Super Sonic.

    With both of these codes, it doesn't matter how many emeralds you have, and you no longer have to have at least 50 rings.

    EDIT: Unicode, I'll look at making these codes work with ONLY one button, but no guarantees.

    Unicode, this code acts just like a switch once you're on the other side of the door. If you turn the code on, the door opens. If you turn the code off, the door closes.

    I only tested this code on the door in the first picture you posted, but it should work on others as well.

    EDIT: Unicode, what's the normal method for turning into Super Sonic?
    You can turn into Super Sonic with pressing A, B or C Button twice but ONLY if your have all Emeralds, or if you're using "Need x Emeralds to become Super Sonic" official Galoob codes, but this might gives troubles if you're using Jump in Midair code. So you should try to make turning into Super Sonic / Tails only with ONE button (only with A, only B or only C, and NOT with EVERY of them. Other trouble in this game is, if you need a specific number of Emeralds, you can't use Super Sonic if you're have number of Chaos Emeralds greater than amount you're needed! If for example you're using the Galoob's code "Need 3 Chaos Emeralds To Become Super Sonic", if you have 1 or 2 Chaos Emeralds, or current amount collected Emeralds is 4 or more, you'll not be able to get Super Sonic at all... So this is why I'm wondering if you can find code that makes possible to use Super Sonic / Tails with ANY number of collected Chaos Emeralds, a. k. a. can use Super Character with either 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 (all) emeralds collected or without any emeralds collected!

    Pause the game and press A to become Super Sonic. Super Sonic will jump higher, have faster acceleration, higher top speed, and be invincible. Also, your rings won't decrease from being Super Sonic. You'll stay Super Sonic until you finish the level or lose a life, but can re-enable it at any time.

    EDIT: Had to add another code to fix a problem with the music not playing when you unpaused.

    For some reason, my codes for Syndicate aren't in the db. Will add them a little later.

    Pause the game and press A for invincibility, or press B or C to add 10 rings to your total. Can repeat for more rings, but if you go over 100, you won't get your extra life until you collect a ring while playing. Also, the invincibility needs to be re-enabled if you lose a life, finish a level, or if you pick up another invincibility.


    EDIT: This is set-up so that anytime you press a button when paused, it will unpause itself to visually show that you pressed a button.

    EDIT2: Also, I made it so that your ring count is updated so you will instantly see the extra rings.

    Unicode, I was able to force the debugger to work with Tails, but it's very glitchy. I'm not going to add the code to the db, but I'll post it here in case you want to play around with it.

    Leave codes OFF, pause the game, turn codes ON, unpause the game and immediately pause and unpause it again. You'll the the ring. The code works, but buggy.

    I'm probably not going to spend anymore time on this code (getting debugger to work with Tails).

    Unicode, I won't be making the "Enemies die automatically" code. I haven't even looked at it for Sonic 2, but if it's anything like Sonic 1, it will take too many codes to do. Maybe someone else can look at it.

    When I'm done with the "Pause - A, B, C" codes, I'll check out the "Door" codes.

    You can see these pictures from the game (all are in Chemical Plant Zone Act 1):

    Picture 1: about halfway the stage before Sonic passses the door, it's opened;
    Picture 2: after Sonic passes door, it will immediatelly close and you'll NOT BE ABLE to go back to to passed part of the stage! This is frustrating if you're missed to collect something (Rings, Ring Monitors, Extra Lives, Shields!
    Picture 3: here is another annoying door near end of the stage that blocking your from going backwards once Sonic (or Tails alone) passes it and you cannot open it in any way. Even worse: I've saw there was Rings and Power-ups I've missing to get before door got locked, unfortunatelly the stage is so designed, so you can't get not only trought door, but also with any sort of jumping because there are platforms that block you from jumping through them...

    Sorry, I can't write an explanation how to get on these places because Chemical Plant Zone is pretty like maze labyrinth and an Debug Mode might be better to get anything that wasn't collected early in that maze level...

    Actualy, anything about "Normal Enemies Die Automatically" and other my requests (only #2 and #3 ones has codes made)?

    that sound coolest! i now play Sonic games on my Gens emulator via USB Flash Drive yesterday, i played Sonic 1 with a code for Special Stage where you can't exit as if you touch on annoying goal thingy

    Get rings from anywhere in special/bonus stages. Note that you will also get the black spikes which cause you to lose 10 rings. Use the "Don't lose any rings in special stages" code to prevent that (ABLA-GAA8).

    EDIT: This code can cause you to be a couple rings short in some bonus stages, so probably best not to use it. Have been removed from the db until I can fix the problem.
