Sorry to disappoint you and probably some other people too, but there're some major changes in my private life (new job, moving to a new town) that cause me to temporarily stop working on Artemis. So don't expect anything to be released soon.

Hey, I just want to show some interest, so you guys know people haven't forgot about this.
I can't wait for the end of this month.

Thanks for your tips, but this is not what I'm looking for. For users, the config files of uLE and FMCB might look impressive, but after taking a look at the sources you can see that the responsible code is tightly bound to the application and quite unflexible.

The Free McBoot Configurator is incredible. It let's you costumize almost anything w/ FMCB.

Take a look at FCMB configurator sources (I suppose those are available). The configurator is based on uLE souces that has a nice config support.Originally posted by misfire View PostAlso, I'm currently looking for a library for reading and writing structured configuration files, like this one: http://www.hyperrealm.com/libconfig/
I've been working on a PS2SDK port of libconfig (I can compile the sources, but there are still issues I have to figure out).
Although I like libconfig, somebody might know of another config lib that turns out to be better suited. The library should be written in C and compatible with the AFL. Feel free to post a link here.

OK, with Oobles' permission, I've made a thread concerning Project Artemis at PS2Dev.org's forums, as well as a project page on their main site. Hopefully that will generate even more interest in Artemis

Nice. I still haven't taken the time to install FMCB, and test it out yet...

I installed FMCB on memory card and it simply works great!
Now I can finally do my development on a slim and very quiet PS2, and my old SCPH-30004 R model will only be used for testing and to hack burned games.

I just purchased a brand new PS2 SCPH-90004 CB from a local discounter for only 77 Euros!
If I can get Free MC Boot to work with it, this is great for both development and testing.
