For people who couldn't afford a SNES during the early 90's & that couldn't afford to get their hands on Street Fighter 2, it was a good, cheap way to pass the time.

I never shared that experience. Couldn't they have ported Street Fighter II to the NES? they did it for the Game Boy. You might have gotten sprite flickering but it could have been done.

I think Capcom could have done that if they wanted to. I think there have been a couple of people that made pirated versions of the game now that I think about it.

Here is a fix for the invincibility code because my other one had severe side-effects. Still not perfect but I don't think a better code could be made except for not taking damage with infinite health. This code seems to have the least amount of problems but still some enemies refuse to register hits.

Free-movement mode (Mode anywhere on screen using the D-PAD. Cannot fall off pits. Use with Hit anywhere, invincibility, infinite lives, etc codes. Animations will be frozen since the last frame but the game functions normally except for the Wookie Hole because the player will not appear unless the code is switched on before starting level and going offscreen in this stage will crash the game.)

I just wish that you can push up or down since there's no jump button with this code and modify it so the screen will follow your every move it so you can just bypassed things kill enemies and move on as you're floating

Ok yeah. I might be able to fix the inability to jumping part while free-roaming but certain other glitches probably can't be fixed without reprogramming massive amounts of the game. Some effects are just not possible in all areas of the game so you will have to switch them off. Even the official Game genie code book had tons of codes where you would get stuck on occasion. There is really no way around these codes I'm afraid.

Also, I've run into a few codes that don't actually work on the site on several occassions. I'm surprised this one doesn't work. Hmm
