I have always found this game extremely difficult when playing against the CPU, but this code gives you an advantage. I think this code makes the game more enjoyable because it's easier to make color matches, which makes it easier to beat the damn CPU. Revenge after all these years. lol.
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (Genesis)
AVBT-AA8J
Your next pair of beans are always the same 2 colors for the entire level.
AN7T-AGB2
The game only uses 4 colors instead of 5 (no purple). Can be used with the code below so there would only be 2 colors used in the game.
AY7T-AGB0
The game only uses 3 colors instead of 5 (no red or yellow). Can be used with the code above so there would only be 2 colors used in the game.
I got an interesting code request recently... Someone who is colorblind wants to play Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, but he has trouble differentiating some of the colors and wanted codes to change them. I've never really tried making Game Genie codes that change the palette, but after some reading, was able to figure it out.
I'm not going to post the codes in the db because each of the colored "beans" actually needs 5 codes to completely change it's color (the beans have 5 different shades of their color). Instead, I'm just going to post the ROM addresses for one of the beans so the info won't be lost. The rest of the colors are nearby.
The purple bean's color palette is from $002826 to $00282E. Standard palette color values apply.
I think you should post the codes anyway. Sure, they can't be used on a real console, but there are plenty of people who play their retro games using a emulator.

The codes can be used on a real console, but unless you're colorblind, I didn't think anyone would want the codes. The guy that I'm making the codes for is using real hardware, so I have a 5 code limit. I think he needs 2 colors changed, so I'll have to use 2 codes on one color, and 3 codes on the other. It won't completely change the color, but it should be enough for him to tell the difference. When I finish the codes for him, I'll post them here. I'll also add a note that the codes are useful if you're colorblind.
When you get done with that, I could sure use someone's help finding the addresses and values for the music in Super Mario Bros. lD Having some trouble with making codes that shuffle the music selections around.

I've never made any music codes, but as with many code types, I'd start with finding the RAM address for which music is playing. You can probably do this by searching for "Same as previous" the entire time a specific song is playing, then go to a spot where there's different music playing and search for "Different than previous". Then make more searches of "Same as previous" while that same music is playing. Keep doing this for lots of different music and you should get your search results down to a manageable level.
Like I mentioned, I've never made any music codes before, so maybe someone else can give you better advice.
Here are the Game Genie codes to make Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine colorblind compatible. The guy who is colorblind tested them and said they work great.
The first 3 codes are for the purple beans, the last 2 codes are for the red beans. These codes are for the actual color palette used for the beans, but the palette for the red beans is also used for part of the "Pause" text and some of the score.
Well that's strange... FANAT sent me a private message asking me to make an invincibility code, and an infinite lives code for him, but you're saying he already made them? Why would he ask me to make those codes if he already made them? Very strange indeed.
FANAT, if you already made these codes but didn't post them yet, let me know which codes are exactly the same as mine, and I'll change the name of the hacker in the db to FANAT. Any codes that aren't the same as mine, go ahead and post them and add them to the db.
