    [COLOR="Blue"]Bucky O'Hare - NES[/COLOR]

    Hit Anywhere(Made by Abystus and nolberto82)
    OXEAGVPV
    OXOEYVPV
    GXOEZTEL
    GZNEYTEL

    Jump in Midair
    AEXAUYAP
    AEUEOYEL
    What I meant by another way was to check other possibilities in the routine you found. Thus far this 3 lines are the ones that seem to work best. I made a Jump in Midair for those tricky jumps. I going to test it some more with Jnes as I only checked with FCEUX.

      Very nice. The "Jump in Midair" code should come in handy as the game's obstacles are insane in the later stages. The crash could have been just FCEUX as I did not try another emulator, but I'm sure you tried that first. I will look more into what you modified to get it working tomorrow as it's kinda late right now. I appreciate you taking time to look over my problem.

        You're welcome. This has to be one of the hardest games I've ever played. The Hit Anywhere code works just have to check the other levels to make sure.

        • Bucky O'Hare was one of the first NES games I played when I got into emulation a few months ago. It's a real good game but nearly impossible to beat without using cheat codes. The game is long too. The arcade beatem up version of the game is a good game as well.

            Yeah, they have the difficulty ramped up for their target audience of 6 year old kids . I will test it as well throughout the game as the "Jump in Midair" code almost makes the game too easy. I may work on keeping the lava/water/spikes from killing you as VistinX's invincibility code doesn't. His code also crashes on the "Green Planet" boss' death (At first I thought it was the new "Hit Anywhere" but disabling codes revealed it to be his invincibility code. I also did the same with my original code, however the crash still occurred even with his disabled.). Could be due to my emulator, I might try it out on the newest version of the emu to see if it still has the issue.

            • Hi, Nolberto!

              First, THANX for making the "always have charged weapon' codes for 'Super R-Type' so quickly!

              However, I've encountered a prob. Same as the PAR code I hacked, the codes work for about a minute after the game starts, then the spiral gun doesn't work at all. I have used them with ZSNES 142 and 151, and with SNES9X 1.53
              I come from a smart family...In the Civil War, my great-grandpa fought for the WEST.

                    I useD both the (U)! rom and the (E) rom. With the (E) rom, it reverts to regular gun about halfway thru the stage, then back to quik-charged spiral gun when the stage boss appears, using SNES9X 1.53.

                    Your codes are quite reliable. I'll try s'more roms.

                    • I thought there was already an existing "Hit Anywhere" Game Genie code for:
                      Code:
                      [COLOR=blue]Duck Hunt - NES[/COLOR]

                      Always hit duck in single duck mode
                      ELXSLZEI
                      But I guess this code is only for single duck mode and your code is for every mode.

                      But I have a question, will your code work for the cartridge that has both Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt games? Or will it only work for the cartridge that just has the Duck Hunt game?

                        Yes it works for the following games:

                        Code:
                        Duck Hunt (W)
                        Super Mario Bros. + Duck Hunt (U)
                        Super Mario Bros. + Duck Hunt + World Class Track Meet (U) (PRG0)
                        Super Mario Bros. + Duck Hunt + World Class Track Meet (U) (PRG1)
                        Code:
                        [COLOR="Blue"]Super R-Type - SNES[/COLOR]

                        Alternate Invincibility

                          • If you have time do you think you could try a "Jump in Midair" for Kaiketsu Yanchamaru 3 - Taiketsu! Zouringen (J) NES? If you succeed would you mind making a tutorial off of the exact steps you used to find your starting point and also on what you altered?

                            If my memory serves me correct the Y coord is at 000517. I haven't found a value to determine if your on the ground or not, or even the calling routine for the jump. I really need to get better at these... As always any help is appreciated.

                            • Nolberto, I think I've found the prob I mentioned with the "always fire charged gun" codes for SNES Super R-Type. When used with any existing "invincibility" code, the ability to fire a charged gun ceases when your ship is hit with something that'd ordinarily destroy it, an enemy shot , wall, etc. I'll try to hack another "Untouchable" code to see if this solves the prob.

                              BTW, I'm not an unskilled gamer, and I was able to play an entire game without being hit once, keeping the charged gun the whole game. Well, here goes...

                                This game has to have the craziest jump routine I have ever seen. I got the next best thing:

                                Code:
                                [COLOR="Blue"]Kaiketsu Yanchamaru 3 - Taiketsu! Zouringen (J) - NES[/COLOR]

                                SZVSTTAZ

                                So that's what it was. I never used the code with invincibility so I never got that problem.
