              Re: FCEU (& a few game Genie)codes

I just finished a week of graveyard shift & tried to stay up yesterday & adjust my sleep cycle back to normal, but I woke up bright-tailed & bushy-eyed at about 4 AM. I thought, "What the heck...Let's see if I can hack a few codes?" Well, here we go...

              FCEU codes for NES Contra:

Kill any enemy or boss w/one hit, any weapon13 codes)
              057D:01
              057E:01
              057F:01
              0580:01
              0581:01
              0582:01
              0583:01
              0584:01
              0585:01
              0586:01
              0587:01
              0588:01
              0589:01
              05F5:01
              05C7:01 (1)

              (1) Use this code ONLY for the Stage 2 boss. Otherwise, keep it off. It causes some strange graphic glitches elsewhere if left on.
Otherwise, there are a few graphic glitches from the other codes in the Energy and Hangar stages, but simply ignore'em & play on.

These codes work for Gryzor, the Japanese version of contra, also!(IMO, Gryzor has better graphics & more interesting material between stages, and a better ending. If you like Contra, you'll LOVE Gryzor!)

              FCEU codes, NES Super C:

With these codes, destroy EVERY enemy, EVERY barrier with 1 hit, any weapon! You can leave'em all on, entire game!

              0679:01
              067A:01
              067B:01
              067C:01
              067D:01
              067E:01
              067F:01
              0680:01
              0681:01
              0682:01
              0683:01

                Re: FCEU (& a few game Genie)codes

Yeah, I read about gryzor. It came out about 2 years after contra. They added some extra things to spice it up. I guess to catch it up with the times. They made some movement of trees to illistrate wind and other changes.

These have been added to the site.

                  Bionic Commando

Here is a code for FCEU NES Bionic Commando.

0784:00...Destroy Albatros with 1 hit, any weapon. Leave off until you're on the Albatros screen.

I also found that codes 0785:00 through 0790:00 can be used to blow up the reactor(boss) of each area w/one hit, any weapon, but they cause strange glitches such as making some ordinary enemies invincible. Thought I'd post'em in case anyone wants to experiment to try to improve them enuff for practical use. It's a lotta trouble to turn'em off/on as needed, especially since the rocket launcher takes'em out in 3 or 4 hits.

                    Re: FCEU (& a few game Genie)codes

Well, you never know when these can come in handy. Perhaps if someone ever wants to do a rom hack of the game that would save them the trouble of making a code to alter enemies life. About the only kind of codes I don't like are ones that have no effect but to make your game crash or glitch out. But then some people like those kinds of codes too.

This code has been added to the site.

I'm not sure how popular that buyou billy game was but I thought it was pretty cool. It seemed pretty ambitious, having different types of games combined in one. That is standard fare nowdays but back then it was usually all the same.

These have been added to the site.

                                Glitch alert!

I made the FCEU code "460:00...kill any boss, 1 hit" for NES Life Force, which is now on the site. While it worx for every boss, leave it off until each boss fully manifests itself, or all kindsa goofy crap may occur, including the game freezing. I've played it through several times using this method, with no probs.

When I find a glitched code, whether I made it or not, I try to find out what happened, & report it.
