    • This is very early version. I'll try make preview in flash but this must be waiting for a while.

      On some LCD monitors, background could be to brightly. I'll recomend check it on CRT. Resolution is actually for native PAL, but of course i'll prepare NTSC too.

      • PS2CC Rev 13 is up. Jimmi PMed me about a change to the buffer and number of codes that can be activated, so I took care of that. I also cleaned some things up and eliminated a few callbacks that I always felt were redundant. I didn't think of a decent way to do it until the other night.

        Edit: Make that 15. I fixed a minor issue with 'I Forgot' searches, then was reminded that the Page Up/Down keys should serve a purpose on the results tab. I also threw together a quick readme to better keep track of changes for now. Let me know if any other keyboard shortcuts would be useful right now. At some point, I need to figure out why my text box handler makes the damn tab key not work. I happen to like tabbing from one value box to the next.

          Yes, I'll provide an interface for the GUI people to manage a list of cheat codes (read cheats from text file, add new games/cheats, remove them, etc.) and to pass them to the cheat engine.

            • I can't login to the new COMPATIBILITY LIST it won't accept my password, a few more games now work with 0.7c :-)
              Them FNR3 codes where hacked with ps2cc ;-P

                • I'm working a constant 3rd person mode code for re4 as we speak :-P
                  It's triggered by switching the language to Japanese in the castle section with Ashley.
                  A patched Codebreaker elf works along side Core Launcher so i'm able to joker it on/off whilst searching.

                  • 8-Bit and 16-Bit testing still need adding to the results tester though, at moment it seems to be testing them as 32-Bit values which tends to crash the game with certain addresses.

                      this would fix your problem of not being able to connect to a Libpad2 game since every game have both them things all the time.

                      • I've noticed problems with certain mastercodes before say for a character or inventory / item mod with one mastercode it'll allow you to select every single item but with another it'll crash the game after say the first 15 items or the normal expected output will be completely wrong, I've found this to be the case with character or match rule mods for the various smackdown games as well.

                          Lots of people would love a 1st or 3rd person view that follows you for the 2 Resident Evil Outbreak games. You have a moment where you walk in and out of doors where the camera follows you, and I think even a moment in lockers where you are in 1st person view. I also wonder about switching between 1st and 3rd person view in Silent Hill 4 when you enter or leave your apartment.

                          • Yeah I already put the glitchy death camera code up at THIA, but I'm working on this new method because the death camera glitch doesn't allow you to fire weapons.
                            Also trainer tools have been released for the pc version on it's modding forum to stop the camera I ported over the codes me and you found.

                            • There's a new build on the SVN for testing (rev 17). It's threaded now so the interface no longer "freezes" while dumping. You still shouldn't be trying to do anything else with it while it dumps though. Halt and Resume options have also been added, as well as a "PS2 Waits" checkbox on the search tab. This makes the PS2 stay halted until the search is actually processed. You can also halt the system beforehand and uncheck the box so the PS2 will stay halted even after searching is done. Could be useful with some timers or things the end quickly and need multiple dumps while letting very little time progress in the game. F4 and F5 are also shortcut keys for halt and resume, as you'll notice in the menu.
