  • i just played first Final Fight game on my Higan emulator and i select Game Genie, one of them is Infinite Time, it disabled in Bonus Stage after the time go down, it go back to the next level in normal way! same for glass bonus stage

it seems PAR code for Infinite Time make you stuck in Bonus Stages.. it's why i want to skip them. unless you make the button codes to disable infinite time

anyways, the game look like Final Fight Guy! but you play as Guy instead of Cody funny, there is Street Fighter Alpha series and Guy is in that series! however he don't have fireballs as Ryu's.. that would be awesome

    • I know in the SNES Street Fighter games the bonus stages can lock up if you have the PAR code for Infinite Health active. It has something to do with the timer, because the game will lock up on you during a fight if you let the timer run all the way down. There is a second RAM address for Health that you need to have active for it not to lock up when the timer runs all the way down in the bonus stages and during a fight. The Genesis versions of Street Fighter aren't like this. The game won't lock up when the timer runs down if you're using the PAR code for Infinite Health. There is still a second address for Health in the Genesis versions, but you don't need to have a PAR code for it if you're playing with Infinite Health.

No success with any of these requests Unicode. There doesn't appear to be any Invulnerability Time in this game. After you die, you are given a grace period where there are no enemies. That appears to be the substitute for being Invulnerable at the start of the level. I thought a code to prevent the Option Hunter from stealing your Options might be possible, but the Option code in this game is incredibly complex, and I couldn't figure out which addresses do what.

that sucks. forget about my requests for Final Fight games. the truth is i think it's lame for both Final Fight and Street Fighter series to have bonus stages.. Streets of Rage don't have one however first Mortal Kombat game had one-Test Your Might

while MK 2, MK 3 and the infamous Ultimate MK 3 don't have that one but they both (MK 3 & UMK 3) have Kombat Kodes

                • Combusto Dragon , did you want me to take a look at Final Fight and see what's causing it to freeze at the Bonus Stages? A PAR code for the second Health address and a code that stops the sub-timer, rather than the actual timer, might solve it.

                  • no. i wish there's a Final Fight hacks that removes bonus stages so it will play normally like Streets of Rage same for Street Fighter games

amyways, enough about Capcom games for now. do you play Flink game before? well i play this game on my PS2's Picodrive yesterday and guess what i stuckat one level after defeat the second boss! can't go down if you do, you die. maybe press button to select the levels? both ways- GG and PAR although i played this game with GG patched and not enough spells

for Phantsay Star IV, i did turn enable collision on and it work fine! via Sega Genesis Collection Alys now travels with the guys- Chaz, Rune and Wren. but i did not get Rika yet

Combusto, use Fanat's Leave Level (Level Skip) and Cheat Menu in Pause Menu codes for Flink:

I tested these codes for Gradius and everything works as expected, except the "Never Lose Weapons" GG from official Galoob's USA code ported to the Japan region of the game - if player's ship dies, on next life this code will prevent stage's music from playing, only sound effects will play, but music will be fully absent. Original Galoob's "Never Lose Weapons" also suffers from that issue. This is only code I didn't added in Japan version page because due to said issue.

I also tested your recent codes for [NES] Tetris (Tengen) and the "Pause the game and Press Up to remove a Block and get a Line Piece" GameGenie code doesn't seems to always gives you straight piece upon pausing game and pressing UP button on FCEUX 2.2.3, also for me the RAM version of same code didn't worked at all, even with reseting game with it active... Other codes for that game worked for me as expected.

                          • Unicode, The Press Up for a piece codes are working fine for me. You press Up and it replaces the currently falling piece with whatever piece you selected with the code I made. The new piece replaces the currently falling piece and descends from the top of the screen. That's how the cheat (Konami code) built into the game works.

I'll look into the Keep Weapon codes for Gradius. The reason I ported the Galoob code was that I couldn't make a version that wasn't glitchy.

The music eventually starts playing again. It is an unpleasant glitch, but I think Galoob has already made the best possible version of a "Never Lose Weapons" code. You really can't improve upon it or do it any other way without causing major glitches. I added a note to the code that it affects the music after you die in my original post and I added the code to the DB.
