This is what I love about hacking...finding stuff that isn't normally playable through normal playing of a game. I managed to find the character modifier values for the first time for this game & found that 4 characters from the Japanese version are in the American version. How cool is that?

Season Mode Codes

I'm hoping to get some season codes for this game posted that I've discovered & perhaps a few others that aren't in the database that have been found by others in the past. Here's a few just to whet your appetite:

Notes about the Draft Selection Codes: When playing season mode normally there are certain superstars or characters that aren't able to be selected to play as & there are some who aren't able to be drafted. These codes will make most characters eligible to be drafted. Some of them, you can actually select to play as. I'll note the ones that can be played as. These are able to be saved also. Before putting the codes that affect the Divas in, make sure that you at least have 4 of them that aren't in the draft, otherwise the game will lock up. For some reason, it will allow you to play as a Diva & fight the male characters, but it places them with the males in the roster screen.

In the future, I'm hoping to do the following:
1. To find a way to make Steve Austin, Triple H, The Undisputed Champion (by default is Undertaker), Linda McMahon, Michael Cole, Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, Earl Hebner, & Debra entered in the draft.
2. To find a way to make Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, X-Pac, Shawn Michaels, Stephanie McMahon, Michael Cole, Earl Hebner, Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, Debra, & Linda McMahon selectable to play as in Season Mode.
3. To modify who the Co-Owners / General Managers are. I'm hoping that they can be modified like the championship title holders.
4. To modify the roster slots in all three roster menus (the one before you start / continue a season, the one for Raw, & the one for Smackdown).

I got to playing around some more with this game & the Japanese version (Exciting Pro Wrestling 4), & managed to find some new things with these codes that I posted previously. I've found a way to not only add just about everyone to the draft in Season Mode, but also make them playable. Michael Cole, Earl Hebner, Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, Debra, & Linda McMahon are the only ones I still haven't been able to make playable & draftable. I also managed to find a way to add the WWE Undisputed Champion (Undertaker by default) & Steve Austin added to the draft. This still doesn't affect their storylines in Season Mode, as the undisputed champion will appear on both shows even if he is drafted by Raw or Smackdown. The cutscene where Steve Austin decides which show to appear on, also appears. Also after searching the debugger, I noticed how to make the male wrestlers appear with the women wrestlers & vice versa. That will be a totally separate post & will require extensive debugging & hacking since I haven't noted the exact addresses for all of the characters in the game.

Season Championship Modifiers

These codes will modify who the champions are. This will also be reflected in the roster menu. These codes are best used prior to starting Season Mode. After beginning Season Mode, save the game & turn the codes off. This will affect how the CPU will draft characters in the game as they mostly look for characters with higher Superstar Points (SP) & championship holders. Please note that whoever the Undisputed Champion is, doesn't appear in the draft. During the draft, the tag team champions will be be drafted to the same show together. It is possible to have one tag team champion on one show & the other tag team champion on the other if you modify them after the draft.
