I think I might have hit the wrong key when I was posting this. I've corrected it. Change the second 1 to a 7. The code should read 7E179800 & on down the line.

I finally had a chance to test these codes out & they are also awesome. What you found was a palette hack for Player 1. This doesn't just modify Berzerker. This modifies anyone that Player 1 chooses. For Example: If you use: 7E0B4762, any character you choose (as Player 1) will have Berzerker's skin, clothing, & hair colors. Bullova looks extremely weird with light skin & a blond flat top.

I also tested other values out:
50 - character is partially transparent
                  62 - Berzerker's Palette

I also found the Palette Modifier for Player 2.

                  Player 2's Palette modfier
                  7E0B49??

I've attempted to try the enemies, but haven't had much luck. Using the codes I found with those values distorts or messes the enemies up. I might have to play with the values before I come up with something.

                  I'll get these codes added.

In any case, you managed to find something again.

I also did some testing with this code. It just causes a loop. Unfortunately, its not useful. When you use "60" as your value, the causes the title screen to loop.

Enemies Bounce after getting knocked down
                          7E190801
                          7E190A01
                          7E190C01
                          7E190E01
NOTE: When an enemy is knocked down by punching, kicking, or a running attack, they just fall to the ground. With these codes they bounce a little bit as if they have been thrown. It also seems to make them fly a lttle bit further as they are falling.

                          Enemies never attack
                          7E195901
                          7E195B01
                          7E195D01
                          7E195F01
NOTE: Enemies will move around, but will never attack.

                          Player 1 is Untouchable
                          7E193501
NOTE: This is an improvement over the other untouchable code I made. The other one made the enemies' attacks go through you. This code makes your character untouchable. Your character will flicker constantly.

                          Player 2 is Untouchable
                          7E193701

                          Player 1 animation speed modifier
                          7E19F5??
NOTE: This is very similar to the Speed Hack codes except that you can adjust the speed of the animation. This will allow your attacks to be faster or slower. This can also be used to give you an edge against your enemies because you can make their attacks slower. Do not use 00 because you can't attack. If you use 00 on the enemies, they won't be able to fall down or get back up. Using values beyond 07 won't freeze the game, but there's no noticeable difference in the speed of the animation.
                          Values:
                          01 - Very Slow
                          07 - Very Fast

                          Player 2 animation speed modifier
                          7E19F7??

                          Enemy animation speed modifier
                          7E19F9??
                          7E19FB??
                          7E19FD??
                          7E19FF??

On the US version, I played as Fats & was able to get from one stage to the next by disabling the switch between stages. The catch is that the character is glitched, but has all of its properties.

I was also looking at the values for H. Squad. I noticed that there were 3 of them (1 for each stage that he's on). I know that there were at least 3 or 4 characters left out from the arcade version. I know its not on there, but how cool would it be if there were hidden values for:
                            * The commando looking guys with knives wearing blue (Stage 5 of the arcade)
                            * The bikers with sunglasses & slicked back hair that usually has bike chains (stage 1 of the arcade)
                            * The guys with flat top haircuts (appear in the 1st 3 stages & stages 5 & 6)
                            * The guys with "bowl" style haircuts (appear in the 1st 3 stages & stage 5 & 6)

I know I'm getting off subject here, but I also found it interesting about the changes they made from the arcade to the SNES version:
                            * The arcade version has 6 stages.
                            * It was originally designed for up to 3 players.
                            * The stages on the arcade were more intricate. On stage 1, if you moved to the far right, you could throw an enemy down the stairs. You also moved from one area to another. In the SNES version, stage two left out the big metal structure where you'd fight Salamander. Also you started in the second part of stage 3 rather than starting in the upper part of the stage.
                            * There weapons in the arcade you could pick up & throw, like motorcycles, go-karts & pinball machines.
                            * H. Squad originally 1st appeared in Stage 4 usually with a wrench.
                            * M. Blaster at the end of stage 5 originally was fought on the roof top.
                            * There was a tall guy w/ blond hair that wore a suit. He's seen leaving stage 5 from the top floor, in the helicopter on the roof top, & he gets shot in stage 6. He was completely removed in the SNES version.
                            * If there's more than 1 player at the end of stage 6, you fight more than one Martha.
                            * Players could also kick the enemies when they are down.
                            * They also left out the "blood effect". Anytime you got stabbed & smashed a person's face into the ground, you'd see red splotches appear for a moment.
                            * Stage 5 was renamed "The Demolition Troops" in the SNES version, while the arcade's stage 5 was called "The Slaughter Troops".

I think graphic & sound wise the SNES version did a good job of maintaining it, but there was so much left out of it. They could have made this game even better.
I always said the same thing about Samurai Shodown for the SNES. There has to be fatalities in there somewhere. I think they were left out at the last moment. Sometimes when I beat a foe he stands there for a bit, like he was bleeding to death, and then falls over.

Anyways, is there a way to get these codes to work on a GG? I can't find a PAR anywhere for sale on the net.

You can convert GG to PAR, but you can't convert from PAR to GG if the PAR codes start with "7E" or "7F". One uses RAM & the other uses ROM. Believe me, I wish it could be done. I've asked that question before many different times.

I don't know if you use an emulator or have an actual SNES. If you have an SNES, I'd recommend getting a PAR2. The PAR2 has a game trainer that allows you find find your own cheats. If you go to Ebay, check Ebay France, Ebay UK, or Ebay Germany & you should be able to find some there. Be warned though, they aren't cheap. Sometimes the switch connection will break, which means that it will need to be soldered back together.

As far as Samurai Shodown goes, I haven't heard anything about finishing moves for that game. However, I could be wrong. One place to check out for hidden stuff is http://tcrf.net . They generally show hidden things on most video games that I never knew that existed.

Samurai Shodown 1 never even had fatalities in the first place, why would the inferior SNES version have them?
