      Thanks Mezmorize.

I have this program too. I have used it a lot, just not recently and it slipped my mind. I just started playing my Xbox and PSP again with some great emus on them.

Since you are just decryptin' GG to Hex and not the other way around, you don't even need to use the converter program.
Just paste a Game Genie code into Fusion emulator, and it shows it decrypted.
The emulator formats it exactly the same as Action Replay, just the 00 is replaced with the compare value.

Thanks very much guys for all of your replies and help. I appreciate it!

edit: just found something out. I went to patch the game Wolfchild with the CCCGP program and loaded the Sega Master System rom by accident, but the code works on that game too. I guess Game Gear and Master System games are pretty much the same?

                    SGG in SMS mode...

Yeah, they are practically the same.

In fact, some games put the Game Gear in SMS mode to run properly, such as:

                    USA
                    Fantastic Dizzy (U)
                    OutRun Europa (U)
                    Predator 2 (U)
                    R.C. Grand Prix (U)
                    WWF Steel Cage Challenge (U)

                    USA and Japan:
                    Chase H.Q. (J)
Also Known As: Taito Chase H.Q.
Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse

                    USA and Europe:
                    Olympic Gold - Barcelona '92 (M8)
                    Prince of Persia

                    Europe
                    Excellent Dizzy Collection, The (E)
                    Super Kick Off (E)

                    Japan
                    Rastan Saga (J)

                    Korea
                    Jang Pung II (K)
                    Super Tetris (K)

                    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                    Edit:
I had to use read watchpoint instead of write to find this one with MESS

                    X-Men - Gamemaster's Legacy

                    Action Replay:

                    00C3-0002

                    Game Genie:

                      That's interesting.

Thanks for doing all of those great codes for the Game Gear. I don't really like playing games without cheat codes, and had no idea how to make Game Gear Game Genie codes myself. Thanks to your codes (and also Hybrid & Whipon), it totally renewed my interest it playing it again.

                        I'm just glad someone's using a code I made.

Here's one for a recently released proto from http://www.smspower.org/

Well, this wasn't easy, and I had to do it a 3 code one, but it fully works.

                          Last Action Hero (U)

                          Invincibility,
                          C92-1DC-C49

                          C97-44E-C49

BTW How many codes can be input in real hardware?.

I'm not sure about the code line limits.
I looked into getting real hardware and a Genie, but I read that the system develops problems with the screen after so many years.

By the way, I made an Infinite Health code for Last Action Hero in an older post ( http://gshi.org/vb/threads/2546-Sega...8921#post38921 )
                            007-2CE-3BE

But yours is likely better anyway...
