  • Classic Cheat Code Game Patcher released!

    Classic Cheat Code Game Patcher (CCCGP for short) is a program that takes Game Genie (GG) or Pro Action Replay/RAW (PAR) codes that you have copied from a website, etc. and automatically parses them for you so you (don't have to enter in one code at a time like other programs like you to do) which produces a list of available cheats for you. You can then select the cheats you want to apply to a game permanently and patch them directly into the game. You can then play your favorite games in ANY emulator (or if you're lucky enough to have the necessary equipment..the real consoles) with cheats! Note that you CAN'T turn the effects of the cheats off so I don't recommend using codes that require you to switch them off to continue.

    Not sure if there that many people out there that still enjoy cheating for classic consoles but I hope there are at least a few!

    Comments/feedback/bug reports are greatly appreciated!

    Ooooh, I like this. Is there anyway to support Sega CD ISOs and BIN/CUE images? I have working PAR codes (for a modified version of Kega Fusion I have) that could be used if hacked in. :P

    I'll give you an example.

    I created these PAR codes for Sonic CD (U) in this modified version of Kega.

    FF151F:0001 Invincibility

    I was able to convert this into Hex PAR format...

    00351F:0001 Invincibility

    How I did this was Hex PAR to RAM PAR (FF addresses) conversion (or vice versa)...

    3=1 2=0 1=F 0=E F=D E=C D=B C=A B=9 A=8 9=7 8=6 7=5 6=4 5=3 4=2

    If you follow the guide above, and see how I took the FF PAR code, and converted it to a Hex PAR, it should help you out some with handling FFs. :P

    P.S. Look how 00 when converted is EE. But, you ignore the 00 and replace it with FF, and convert the 3rd character.

      Hi cracker. I got your PM at KodeWerx. Cool program. One small comment... In your text file included with the program, you may want to mention something about Genesis PAR codes that begin with "FF" (RAM) can't be patched into the game.

          Oooh, this will come in handy for those who don't wish to directly patch ROMs.

              v2.1 Update
              ================================================== ============================================
              NES and Gameboy/Game Gear patch routines were changed to patch every 8192 bytes (instead of 16,384). This seems to let all *good* codes be patched into the games correctly. Please notify me if there are codes you use that work in an emulator or on real hardware but don't with CCCGP so I can test them.

                @King Of Chaos:
                I tried your method for converting the 'FF' codes but it didn't do anything for me. I tested these codes for Boogerman:
                Infinite Boogers
                FF023C:32
                Infinite Hits
                FF1A3F:02
                Infinite Lives
                FF022E:99
                Infinite Strong Belches/Burps/Farts
                FF023E:25
                Max Plungers
                FF0232:99

                  Hey guys,

                  I have had the CCCGP patching program on my laptop before, but I have recently re-installed Windows 7 (again) and now the programs will not load and it's telling me "Comdlg32.ocx is needed. Any help on what to do would be appreciated!

                          Why do you need a newer version? Its not going to function differently beyond some cosmetic changes to the UI or being a little faster, it'll create the same patched rom.
