And it only works on local play, not online play. So I want to hack that for online play, but since I can't get online with PCSX2, I am stuck. Don't know, and can't guess the address for it on online play either. All I can think of is that the address has changed alot for online play.
It would be alot appreciated if you could help me finding that one for online play.
Now I'm incredibly confused. Why was I thinking you were now trying to find stuff for Dynasty Warriors 5? That would be why the live dump doesn't work, I found the codes for Dynasty Warriors 5. I'll check Ratchet Deadlock.
No no no. You're getting me wrong. Sorry if I didn't tell you this, but I did try the codes for Dynasty Warriors 5, and it wouldn't dump. I was trying it with Dynasty Warriors 5 for a test, to make sure that it would work with Ratchet: Deadlocked too (not to use the same codes). But it didn't, and then you started asking me what I was trying to hack, and I told you what I wanted to hack for Ratchet: Deadlocked, which is the whole thing.
But you can find the dump code and the scemc functions for Ratchet: Deadlocked for me, if you want?
Fixed both Ratchet & Dynasty Warriors, they should both work now. I went back to Resident Evil 4 since I've done a live dump with that game before, and used that to find scemcopen. As far as I can tell, to find scemcopen, just go to the tiny function right above sceMcClose and go to the only jal in it. That jal should lead to sceMcOpen.
you should be really be using a real cheat devices like Codebreaker, Madcatz Gameshark or Xploder
(No Datel cheat devices (AR 1/2 and AR Max) they sucks at dumping).
Half Baked knockoffs like swapmagic, codemajic
they do not understand subroutine code or advance codetypes.
For Dynasty Warriors 5, I used GameShark 2 V4. I started with converting the codes from RAW to GS2v3-4 using MaxConvert, started up GameShark 2 V4, added in all of the codes (master code too), enabled them all and started the game with having them enabled. I went to "CAMP", went to "OFFICERS" and pressed R3 (even pressed it multiple of times) to dump. After that, I went to my memory card and nothing new had appeared/changed. The saves on my memory card are still the same.
And yes, I made sure I was using the correct SceMcOpen "0c04b712".
