Thanks very much; ugetab beat you to the punch, though

Good to know, but I'm still a little foggy about why UGGCONV and Game Genie Code Converter would yield 3D86 48...I could see them accidentally yielding high, if they didn't correct for the high bit being set, but why would they yield low? Perhaps they were written to automatically add 0x8000 to all results?

    Furthermore, when I run 3D86 48 or BD86 48 through them, I don't get AKE-LVS, but AKA-LVS, though if I run either AKA-LVS or AKE-LVS through them, I still get 3D86 48...

In any case, if I write MP to determine whether the result is less than 0x8000 or not, and if it is, add 0x8000, that should fix all issues, correct?

Yes that should fix all issues, as all program code is above 0x7FFF and AFAIK all GG codes are ROM codes.

Heh, I'm still not finished with Majestic Porter, but it's been on hold for a while, as Project Artemis surfaces, and real life keeps me busy.

Incidentally, "Majestic Porter" is merely an anagram of "Project Artemis"

actually Majestic porter should be moved into the same board as Project Artemis. don't you agree? It is a video game utility that is in development.

Heh, there's an actual person named Majestic Porter: http://www.facebook.com/people/Majes...rter/752688004

I will try to set aside the time to finish several other encryption/decryption and encoding/decoding routines, as well as some other functionality, in the next couple weeks.

Though, to be honest, I think perhaps Majestic Porter should simply have its features implemented in Viper's revamp of RenegadeEX. Why have multiple tools when one can do the whole job?
