How exactly does one go about doing that, I might ask? If that is indeed possible (let alone legal--I hope it is; would really love to stick it to Datel for STILL refusing to post those badge-enhancing codes, even after about THIRTY requests from me to make them*).

*This is actually true--it's as if Datel is trying to make every code BUT the ones I request, as a sort of deliberate "I'm going to do the OPPOSITE of what you want me to do! Bwa ha ha!" phenomenon generally practiced by jerks, douchebags, and various other ne'er-do-wells.

EDIT: Why is there suddenly ZERO activity in this thread? Please, somebody (other than me) say SOMETHING!

UPDATE: I have just sent a VERY specific email directly to Datel themselves regarding the lack of badge-enhancing codes for the American version of Super Smash Bros. for 3DS. I just hope they decide to respond (hopefully by either actually producing said codes, or saying that they will produce them, then go ahead and do so). Hopefully our rather excruciating wait to have godlike equipment (like what the European version already has) will soon be over!

I'm getting a powersaves very soon and will be looking into it myself, so i thought i'd raise this thread from the dead.

Thanks, Immortal_no1. However, I don't currently own a 3DS, so whether you find out how to hack the Powersaves device is moot at the moment (to me, anyway). Others would probably still find your discoveries quite useful.
