        • Note for all the NES Mega Man games, the Take Less Damage codes makes you always take 2 HP of damage, while the Take Much Less Damage code makes you always take 1 HP of damage. I have no idea if 2 HP is always the ideal value for Taking Less Damage for every NES Mega Man games. It might make some of the games too easy.

          • terpsfan101, I added all codes for Ninja Gaiden 2 and 3 and Mega Man's Take (Much) Less Damage codes as well.

            Can you do these?

            Ninja Gaiden 2: Sword Of Chaos [NES]: Always Have ?? Subweapon (I do not request less damage / longer invincibility after hit because you have just made those already).

            Adventure Island III [NES]: Make After Completing Level *-5 in Every World 1 Through 8, Game To Go *-A And Then *-B (the alternative stages) Before Going To Stage *-6 (where World Boss' Is Located). As * represents the current world's number.

            This request is somewhat alike Level Select, however I'm not sure if you can do something similar. I'm ask because in this game you can normally play only 6 stages per world which is pretty short for me (for comparison Adventure Island 2 has minimum 9 stages per world (10 in World 6 - Cloud Island, 11 in world 5 - Cave Island and a like 15+ stages in last world - Dinosaur Island), and if player chooses specific eggs in Bonus room appearing after completing a stage, it's possible to play all of the available stages in corresponding World in this game (except World 3 - Desert Island). I mean literally a codes changing the stage coming after *-5 to be *-A (the alternate route which plays in pair followed by the stage *-B) instead to go directly to last stage - *-6 (although you might need to make separate code for each of the eight worlds in this game).

            1943: Battle of Midaway [NES]:

            1. Take Less / Much Less / Minimal Damage (less / much less energy points lost) From Enemy / Boss Planes;
            2. Always Shoot ?? Weapon;
            3. Always Have Two-side Escort in GameGenie format (there is a code made already for this however it's ONLY PAR, it's pretty glitched and doesn't seems to work properly);
            4. Player Stays Invincible For Shorter / Longer / Much Longer Time / Until End Of Level After Colliding With Enemy Planes.

              Unicode, Game Genie codes for Always having a Special Weapon in this game are going to be way too difficult to make and be way too impractical to use.

              007D:00 Special Weapon Modifier - Throwing Star Attack (1 of 5)
              0463:10 Special Weapon Modifier - Throwing Star Attack (2 of 5)
              0468:1C Special Weapon Modifier - Throwing Star Attack (3 of 5)
              0469:1C Special Weapon Modifier - Throwing Star Attack (4 of 5)
              046A:1C Special Weapon Modifier - Throwing Star Attack (5 of 5)

              007D:01 Special Weapon Modifier - Windmill Throwing Star Attack (1 of 5)
              0463:11 Special Weapon Modifier - Windmill Throwing Star Attack (2 of 5)
              0468:1D Special Weapon Modifier - Windmill Throwing Star Attack (3 of 5)
              0469:1D Special Weapon Modifier - Windmill Throwing Star Attack (4 of 5)
              046A:1D Special Weapon Modifier - Windmill Throwing Star Attack (5 of 5)

              007D:02 Special Weapon Modifier - Fire Wheel Art Attack (1 of 5)
              0463:12 Special Weapon Modifier - Fire Wheel Art Attack (2 of 5)
              0468:20 Special Weapon Modifier - Fire Wheel Art Attack (3 of 5)
              0469:20 Special Weapon Modifier - Fire Wheel Art Attack (4 of 5)
              046A:20 Special Weapon Modifier - Fire Wheel Art Attack (5 of 5)

              007D:03 Special Weapon Modifier - Fire Dragon Balls (1 of 5)
              0463:13 Special Weapon Modifier - Fire Dragon Balls (2 of 5)
              0468:1E Special Weapon Modifier - Fire Dragon Balls (3 of 5)
              0469:1E Special Weapon Modifier - Fire Dragon Balls (4 of 5)
              046A:1E Special Weapon Modifier - Fire Dragon Balls (5 of 5)

              007D:04 Special Weapon Modifier - Invincible Fire Wheel Attack (1 of 5)
              0463:14 Special Weapon Modifier - Invincible Fire Wheel Attack (2 of 5)
              0468:21 Special Weapon Modifier - Invincible Fire Wheel Attack (3 of 5)
              0469:21 Special Weapon Modifier - Invincible Fire Wheel Attack (4 of 5)
              046A:21 Special Weapon Modifier - Invincible Fire Wheel Attack (5 of 5)

              Note: The 1st and 3rd code are definitely necessary. Not sure if the 4th and 5th codes are necessary. The 2nd code isn't necessary. It displays the correct Special Weapon in the Special Weapon Box.

              0510:FF Infinite Invincible Fire Wheel Time

              Edit: Unicode, combine those Special Weapon Modifier codes with this Galoob code for Infinite Ninja Power if you always want to have a specific Special Weapon available:

              XXEOSZVZ Infinite Ninja Power (1 of 3)
              LOEOVXIY Infinite Ninja Power (2 of 3)
              PUOOSXLK Infinite Ninja Power (3 of 3)

              Also added the codes in this post to the DB.

              • Unicode, how do I get to Stages 1-A and 1-B in Adventure Island III? Does it have something do with the Bonus Room you mentioned? And if so, how do I get to the Bonus Room?

                  I've uploaded a few screens from the Bonus Room in first World. The first one shows the place near end the end of level 1-2 (you'll need a fire dinosaur) to jump into the lava and shoot with the dinosaur to open the hole and then shoot again while your face is right infront the hole to enter it. Second screen shows the bonus room itself - once you enter it with B button held, you'll may spawn inside the pink rectangle and able to collect the invincibility crystal inside it (in this case it's left and right walls are unsolid and can be entered / exited anytime, but there's an issue - sometimes the game just decides to not allow you to access the crystal and then spawns you at the floor and then you'll be unable to collect it because in this case the pink rectangle has solid walls and you CANNOT enter and the invincibility crystal is completely inaccessible at all! Anyway, the Skip (right) side warps you to said stages *-A (in case it's 1-A) followed by the *-B stage, while the Exit (left one) side makes player to return back to the level he has entered the Bonus Stage from.

                  Note: there's more two Bonus Rooms looking same which contains three dinosaur icons - one at the middle of main room's floor and the other two are on both mid-air platforms just left and right at the crystal rectangle around the invincibility crystal.

                    Not pretty Unicode, but this will at least allow you to play all the levels in the game:

                    PEEUXZAA Go to Bonus Area after completing an Area (1 of 2)
                    SEEUSXSX Go to Bonus Area after completing an Area (2 of 2)

                    Note: Enable code only at the very end of an Area when you are right next to the exit for the Area. Once you start the 1st Bonus Area, disable the code.

                    AEKUPYGA Return to Area 2 after completing Bonus Area
                    PEKUPYGA Return to Area 3 after completing Bonus Area
                    ZEKUPYGA Return to Area 4 after completing Bonus Area
                    LEKUPYGA Return to Area 5 after completing Bonus Area

                    Note: Once you beat the Bonus Area, you'll be taken to the final Area (Area 6) on the World Map, but whatever Area you chose to return to will be the next Area that loads. Probably a good idea to disable the code once you start the Area you chose to return to.

                        Your "Go to Bonus Area after completing an Area" GG code doesn't seems to work as expected - it only makes player go to area A-1 and after finishing it you're stuck replay same stage all over again! No Bonus appears, nor you'll go to next stage at all, until you switch this code off. I tried also that same code together with "Return to Area 3 after completing Bonus Area" code and there's was no difference - same issue remained. I'm wonder if you can make you go to Bonus room after finishing a stage and when you exit the room via left "Exit" choice, player do directly return to next normal stage, like:

                        Play Area 1-1 and finish stage;
                        Then game to warp you at Bonus room and collect items as expected. Then exit it via left exit;
                        After exiting the bonus room, game to go back to world map and player to go to Area 1-2 and play it;
                        After finishing 1-2 game again to put you into the bonus room and collect items as expected. Then exit it via left exit again;
                        After exiting the bonus room again, game to go back to world map and player to go to Area 1-3;

                        and so on, until player finish area 1-5. Then game to warp you back into the bonus room and to exit via the right "Skip" exit this time;
                        Then game to go back to overworld map, and player to go from 1-5 to 1-A;
                        At area 1-A finish it normally and game do skip to area 1-B (without showing bonus room) and after finishing it players moves way back to the last area 1-6.

                        With other words, the game to always puts you into bonus room after finishing stage and after exit it player do go back to map to next normal stage until player choose the "Skip" exit at bonus room... I thank your "Go to Bonus Area after completing an Area" code does something similar but nope - game only loads first alternate stage and then only loads the same stage - no bonus room shown, nor game will go to any other stage at all...

                        Anyway, I tested Hybrid's Stage select code and his code was working as expected, so he can add his code to DB.

                        • I'll look at the Bonus Area codes again. When I tested them on the 1st Stage, they seemed to work fine. I have another idea for being able to play all the levels, if it turns out these codes don't work properly.

                          • Fixed the code that returns you to Area 2 after completing the Bonus Area.

                            Alright Unicode, here is what you have to do for those Bonus Area codes to work properly:

                            The "Go to Bonus Area after completing an Area" code takes you to the Bonus Area the next time you are on the World Map. So enable that code only at the very end of an Area when you are right next to the exit for the Area. Once you start the 1st Bonus Area, disable the code.

                            Then enable one of the "Return to Area ?? after completing Bonus Area" codes. Once you beat the Bonus Area, you'll be taken to the final Area (Area 6) on the World Map, but whatever Area you chose to return to will be the next Area that loads. Probably a good idea to disable the "Return to Area" code once you start the Area you chose to return to.

                              • Thanks anyway - appears you cannot make codes to make player just from *-5 to move to *-A... I really wish there to was hack or GG (even with a routine) for this game allowing player to move character on world map manually with D-pad on NES controller rather game to move player automatically on next level and player cannot control where the game moves him at overworld at all...

                                You can move on 1943 Battle of Midway requests.
