    1. Make fewer requests. No more than 5 requests per game.

    2. Make less frequent requests. Don't post new requests immediately after your current requests have been completed.

    3. Adjust your requests to the hacker's skill level. You should have a good idea by now what each hacker is capable of doing. Don't request codes that are beyond a hacker's skill level.
I actually had shortened (removed) majority of my Mega Man 7's requests now.

You should know by now, how complicated it is to make these "Start with weapons/energy tanks/extra equipment" codes for the NES and SNES Mega Man games. On behalf of all the hackers here, I am going to suggest that you stop requesting these types of codes for the NES and SNES Mega Man games.

I'll look at requests 4 and 5 on your list later. You can also add another request for this game, since I'm not going to do the "Start New Game With All Equipment" request.

Unicode, do you see why I didn't want to do your "Start with all equipment" request. This code is insane. It's 36 lines long. If I could ever figure out how to load and store indexed values, I could probably shave off approximately 10 lines.

Start a new game with all Equipment:

          3CD2-84A7

Edit: Unicode, don't add this code to the database. It does work, but it's an embarrassing code.

I tested this code and unfortunately, on BSNES 0.73 it's only partially working. In game I have Rush Jet, Rush Search, Proto Shield, Exit, Energy Balancer and other few enabled and working fine, however Beat, Beat Wristle and everything rest are still not available at all, man... Beat Wristle's use with Beat itself is supposed to save you if falling into a pit, however with your code active, Megaman still dies instantly upon falling, which means Beat Wristle is one of the items NOT working with your code enabled... Although you're right - this code needs long time to be entered in emulators to be used.

terpsfan101, if you really don't want to bother with this code, I recommend only this instead: separate this code to two ones:

            1. Code for Beat, Beat Wristle, Super Adapter and others that does NOT work on BSNES emulator (incompatible with it) and adding a note about this;
            2. Code for Rush Search / Rush Jet / Proto Shield / Exit / Energy Balancer and other working items that are fine on BSNES emulator (I'm using 0.73) as these are WORKING on it.

I thing this is best since this appears to be hard for making and I won't bother you for this anymore.

            • terpsfan101, if you look at this link, you'll find "Always Have All Weapons And All Items" codes for Megaman 1, 2, and 3. https://gamehacking.org/game/15460

It's been a long time, but I seem to remember that the game was checking to see which weapons/items you had, and I just changed a couple conditional branches to get all weapons/items. It's possible that Megaman 7 uses similar programing.

Thanks for the advice Tony. I'll look into it. I'm kind of interested in Wily Wars anyway. I've avoided playing it and making codes for it because I've heard so many negative things about the game. But I see that you have made some codes that address some of those complaints.

Double check to make sure you have all the codes entered correctly. I just entered the codes from scratch on Snes9X and I started with 4 Beat Whistles and Beat saved me when I jumped into a pit. Here is what your equipment screens should look like:

Edit: Or just forget about the code altogether . It really is too big to be of any practical use.

                  • I now entered in BSNES 0.73 all codes again, then checked to be sure in cheats tab of Tools window every code has the checkbox in-front on it in active and this time all items are loaded fine. You can add this code to db - seems previous time I had some of the codes unchecked (inactive), so that assume why some of items was missing. Also seems this code needs to be enabled before title screen to work, so when you add this code to dababase, add a note about this.

Anything about the requests about capsules restores ?? health / Capsules refill Current Weapon / Health completely and the infinite time for pickups to be collected by player?

Actually, the code crashes the game after you die. Really not worth adding to the database.

Actually, the "Start each stage with all Equipment" code crashes the game after you die. Really not worth adding to the database.
I tested your codes and almost all of them runs fine. But your code "Large Energy Pellets fully restore Health" F092-7DDB doesn't restore full health if Mega Man have his Health bar nearly empty (only 2-3 bars max). I added all other codes.

Thanks. I fixed it in my post and added it to the database. I also fixed a few of the small energy pellet codes that had wrong values.

PAUZYTEA Jump to any Height (Hold Jump to go higher, release to descend) (2 of 2)
AAXKVGPA Jump to any Height (Hold Jump to go higher, release to descend) (3 of 3)

Note: Be careful about leaving the screen while going upwards and returning back downwards. You can always return back to the original screen you jumped from, but you may hit an enemy or hazard while changing screens. nolberto82's Jump in Midair code also has this issue.

Edit: This one may work a little better with the switching screens thing. However, the same precautions apply:

PAEZGGGA Jump to any Height with slower ascent and descent (Hold Jump to go higher, release to descend) (1 of 4)
PAUZYTEA Jump to any Height with slower ascent and descent (Hold Jump to go higher, release to descend) (2 of 4)
ZEOXAKZZ Jump to any Height with slower ascent and descent (Hold Jump to go higher, release to descend) (3 of 4)
AAXKVGPA Jump to any Height with slower ascent and descent (Hold Jump to go higher, release to descend) (4 of 4)
