  • Yes, Unicode I messed up those Start with ?? Hearts after Dying codes. I corrected all of them in my original post above and in the database. Try them out and see if you still get the Master Higgins bug you described.

Here are a few more useful codes:

SXSLGZSA Keep Special Items after Dying
    SZOLLLSA Keep Powers after Dying
    SZOUALSA Keep Hearts after Dying

I'm unable to make a code to Keep Weapons/Items after Dying because the code I made interferes with another ROM address that freezes the game when it's changed.

      • Thanks you much for codes! Fixed versions worked fine! Finally question about this game - anything about the Jump / float codes? If you can't make anything of these for some reason, then can move on Adventure Island II requests...

Generally, jump codes of the game genie variety are something I can only do with RAM codes others have already found. There aren't any RAM jump codes in the database for Adventure Island 4. Also, push button codes like "Press Select for Invincibility" are beyond my skill level. I think you are getting the hang of what I am and am not capable of. I'll look into your Adventure Island II requests soon

SZULGZSA Keep Skateboard/Dinosaur after hitting spikes

I know you requested Invincibility, but these codes basically function as Invincibility.

I know this sounds like an obvious question, but do your controllers have a mode button that switches between 3-button and 6-button modes? If they do, try pressing the mode button in the Options screen if you get the 3-Button configuration.

                    • I've tried your codes, they're nice! It's possible to make them also for the Japanese version (levels there are bit different)? Also, one additional request: Player Always Have Fairy / Star Rain Attack / Jumping Star Raining Attack All Of Time. Edit: Your "Special Attacks don't run out" GG code AVNEANVT causes the game to have blinking graphical glitches. I disabled this code and glitches went away, so please fix it.

                      • Unicode, see if there are graphical glitches with the versions of Special Attacks don't run out listed below. If there still are graphical glitches, there isn't a way I know of to fix them.

SVNEANVV Special Attacks don't run out (Last until you die or complete the stage)

                        or

AVNEANVT Special Attacks don't run out (Last until you die or complete the stage) (1 of 3)
XVNEPYGN Special Attacks don't run out (Last until you die or complete the stage) (2 of 3)
XVNEZYGE Special Attacks don't run out (Last until you die or complete the stage) (3 of 3)

I looked into your request of Players Always Have Fairy/Star Rain/Jumping Star Attack and couldn't get them to work.

Rainbow Islands (USA) is the same game as Rainbow Islands - The Story of Bubble Bobble 2 (Japan). If it's OK with you, I'll do codes for the USA version.
