I second that motion. I want a code for infinite cash in the checking account, a code for a higher salary, & a code that will put me in a better looking house. It would be nice.
Hacking games is always fun because you don't know what's hidden in the game.

Your GameGenie codes for Infinite Bee for Hudson's Adventure Island and all of the codes for Tetris (Tengen Version) are works with no any problems. Thanks, @nolberto82!
        No problem.

I'm with you 100% on that nolberto. Most people that make codes do it as a hobby. Hobbies are supposed to be fun/interesting/relaxing. If your hobby isn't fun/interesting/relaxing anymore, what's the point. When I make a code for someone, and they tell me that they were finally able to finish a game, or get past a really tough spot in the game, that's the only payment I need. A simple "Thanks" goes a long way. <steps off his soap box/>

          • @ nolberto82 wish you would have told me about the gg encoder so that it would limit the "non working request".

It seems we have all had this happen to us at one point or another and there are plenty of guides and tools as well as our own methods available so anyone can hack their own codes. People seem to be lazy and unappreciative and demand way too much from us.I like how some people request something in their own thread and that leaves it an open option to anyone of us to hack the code or not without any specific person on the spot for that request.

              • @nolberto82, you can fix the your codes for Mega Man "Start with 255 Health" and "Start with 255 Weapon Power" because I found bugs that I has described in post #350?

Oops, I also found serious error in the "Pieces don't fall" code for the "Tetris (Tengen)" game. If the code is enabled, the pieces don't fall, but it also cause you cannot press Down on D-pad to place the blocks on the ground.

I will say that if it wasn't for your guides that I've seen posted, I wouldn't have learned about ways of randomly creating codes. This is a hobby that I've enjoyed since I was in my late teens. When I first bought a Game Genie, I kind of grew tired of the official codes because they were so limited. I only wish I kept my SNES, Game Genie, & all the games I had for it instead of trading it in for a PS1. I was able to do more hacking using the Game Shark Pro for the PS1. That's where I started to get an understanding of how the addresses & values work. I still think there should have been some attempt to recreate the GS Pro for the PS2, Xbox, PS3, & Xbox 360. You wouldn't have to put it in the drive, all you would have to do is hook it up to an external port (like with the PS1 GS Pro).

In any case (I'm getting off the subject), the guides & FAQs I've seen you post & the ones on this site are very helpful. I am grateful for that, otherwise, I'd still be in the dark about hacking with a Game Genie.

Anytime, I've made requests, I always try to have them listed as "ideas". Sometimes, when a game is hacked to death, its hard to think of other areas of a game that need to be hacked. Having ideas is just as important.

When I first bought a Gameshark for the PS1 in the late 90's I always wondered how those codes were made. From that day on I wanted to learn how to create codes. After practicing for such a long time
it became a hobby of mine and it still is. Saying thanks doesn't hurt anyone or cost you money.
