Super Mario Bros 2 (U) FCEUX

Level Eraser (Your character will erase anything he/she walks/jumps in-front of and it will be gone permanently until the screen is reloaded. You will also notice a flood of stars emitting from the bottom of the screen every few seconds. Use in combination with a Moon Jump or Hover Type code as it will actually erase things you need to progress such as platforms, vegetables, doors, etc...)

Do these codes also work for Nestopia? Or do they just work for FCEUX? Also is there some kind of little program that can translate PAR codes into Game Genie codes? I prefer Game Genie Codes because they are universal. They can be used in any emulator and most importantly, the real hardware console.

I would assume yes, but I have not tested them out in that emulator. If you use Nestopia can you verify if they work or not?

There are tools located here that can.

Game Genie codes are nice, however I am not a fan of encrypted codes. I don't own the hardware so I have no concern if it works there as most people (the vast majority overall) use emulation. Also I find there are a lot of FAKE Game Genie codes out there because the person that created them had no clue what memory range the Game Genie affects. Now this isn't to say that I am not willing to make a compatible code to be used with Game Genie, It's just one more step in my day to day activity to convert them to Game Genie format that I can do without to be honest.

My personal preference is to see the address which was modified initially instead of having to decrypt the code to see it. I believe the Game Genie affects the 0x8000 - 0xFFFF range (Source: NES Game Genie Technical Notes by The Mighty Mike Master) of nes games so any code that falls between that range from above should be able to be converted into a working Game Genie code that will work on hardware.

Grab the tool from the link I provided and convert the ones you need (Remember: only codes that fall within the 0x8000 - 0xFFFF range) to Game Genie if you wish to use them on real hardware.

Is the tool you speak of, on that page, called the "Game Genie Code Converter 4.0"?

I tested this (NES) Ninja Gaiden PAR Code on Nestopia
No Enemies (Turn off before boss fights.) 007300
The code works but the game crashes after ten seconds. Are you sure that code does not crash FCEUX too?
