    • Here's a long-overdue update concerning my previous post:

The lava/sandstorm/hail-proof codes will affect what moves your Pokemon will learn if they level up. However, there's an easy workaround: you can talk to Gulpin, who will help you remember moves you missed out on for free. Just make sure you turn the weatherproof codes OFF when exiting a dungeon. They won't freeze the game, but if they work outside of dungeons, it'll mess up what moves you can relearn.

And, it's actually HARDER to recruit Pokemon at level 255 than it is at level 100. That might be due to the fact that 100 is the game's normal level cap, and therefore the recruit rate for Pokemon gets glitched up if you TRULY max out your level at 255.

      • Here is a very long-overdue update to my hacker thread!

Just a little taste of what to expect in the near future...

        Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon (U)

        Full Belly for Entire Team

        00A130D8 00004E20
        00A131E0 00004E20
        00A132E8 00004E20

Please note that the original code posted on Fort42.com is slightly incorrect; the value for a full belly IS correct, but the second and third lines' addresses are incorrect. These listed above are correct.

        Max EXP for Entire Team*

        00A130E4 004C4B40
        00A131EC 004C4B40
        00A132F4 004C4B40

*Gives you 5 million EXP for each Pokémon; instantly "warps" you to level 100.

        Level Modifiers*

        Pokémon 1: 00A130E0 000000XX
        Pokémon 2: 00A131E8 000000XX
        Pokémon 3: 00A132F0 000000XX

*Use values from 1 to 100 (00 to 64 in hex); anything higher will make you only deal 1 (ONE) damage per hit, regardless of what attack you use. However, this code isn't necessary if you use the EXP modifier I posted above. Plus, if you set your level to 100, you'll do more damage per hit, but not much--your stats will still be stuck at those for a much lower level. You'll have to then spam drinks to fix this issue.

One final note: it IS possible to "overclock" your Pokémon's stats. Just use the "max stats for all slots" code on Fort42.com, and insert FFFF wherever you see FF in the code. Do NOT change the HP values (1F4); it won't make any difference as to how much HP you'll have. This will make you do almost twice the damage (sometimes even "triple-9-ing"--dealing 999 damage to--some Pokémon). I won't post that code here, as I simply changed some of the values. 999 IS the highest amount of damage the game allows you to deal with a single move. However...you can easily defeat even the likes of Mewtwo (and his mega evolution) with this much power! If you're lucky, you might even KO Mewtwo before he has a chance to use Recover (if you use Alliances, that is).

        • Just an update to my previous post: I'm going to go after the Storage Bag slot modifier codes, as the values for most of the items have already been discovered (except for the regular/rainbow TMs, AFAIK). Therefore, I'm going to find two things with this upcoming search: first, the Storage Bag slot addresses (of course), and the elusive values for the gen-3 starters' mega evolutions (through the use of the soon-to-be easily available Awakening Emera). Why they're not stored in the same way as every other mega evolution in the game is beyond me, but it may be due to Nintendo's trying to have SOMETHING to hold over us hackers. Well, Big N, you won't be laughing for long...heh heh.

And, I've also attempted to hack the Gateway equivalent of the infinite-P-meter, moon jump and infinite-time codes for New Super Mario Bros. 2, but with no success so far. I'm going to have to put out a call to more experience hackers for those.

One final edit to this post: I'm about to start looking for codes for Hyrule Warriors Legends (US). I've heard this game is so big and full of content that it makes Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon look like Super Mario Bros. (NES) in comparison. Wow...

In the mean time, I will also be looking to post those Storage Bag modifiers sometime this upcoming week.

          • Another bit of info regarding Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon:

The floor-modifier addresses appear to be pointer-based, as they keep changing every time you go to a new dungeon (or even re-enter the same dungeon).

Also, I found the Storage Bag slot modifier codes! They are separated by 0x40 bytes, just like the Deposit Box codes. Also, they only seem to work outside of a dungeon, unless you directly edit the values using the hex editor.

Storage Bag Item Modifier Slot 1:

            0886F588 00000???

Remember, like I said above, the slots are separated by 0x40. Thus, Slot 2 would be at 0886F5C8, Slot 3 is at 0886F608, et cetera. The item values for the Deposit Box codes apply here, too.

And, regarding the 3rd-generation starters' mega evolutions: it may not be possible to make them permanent. This is due to their being coded differently than the other mega evolutions, for some reason. However, I did find out that there are some values which change when you are playing as, say, Sceptile, and set an Awakening Emera in its Looplet (if it has one equipped). The Pokémon ID modifier address's value stays the same here, but the values immediately preceding it do change, so that might be a clue to (eventually) developing a permanent mega evolution code for Sceptile, Blaziken and Swampert.

                  • Please note that the "No Damage Taken" codes do not make you invincible. They simply make the game not tally up the damage you do take, making it much easier to obtain A ranks in adventure mode, especially if combined with the 9999 KO code.

EDIT: add 091CF0F8 00000000 to the Adventure no-damage code, and 091CF128 00000000 to the Legend one.

Just ordered a Nyko charge kit from Amazon.com. Will arrive on Tuesday. Free Prime trial = WIN! Expect more codes in THREE DAYS! *Cue Europe's "Final Countdown"*

It's beyond cruel to insist on freezing WHILE SAVING! Rest in pieces, you trolling pile of electronic garbage! (said to 3ds) Maybe the next 3ds I get will finally decide to cooperate.

                          • This post overhaul is of twofold significance: 1. I am about to acquire a "new" laptop, and 2. Nintendo have just tried to slip their latest 3ds firmware update under the radar...within the last 4 hours! But, much to everyone's benefit MY radar is of the ground (and bullshit) penetrating variety. Do NOT update your 3ds-family handheld to 10.8 just yet if you wish to continue using homebrew.

                              • I apologize for having WANDERED off topic, but I shall soon resume hacking 3DS codes this weekend.

EDIT: I apologize for the delay, but like I said, here is a new code (well, an update to a previous one):

Add the following lines to the "Infinite Magic/Special in Legend Mode" code:

                                291CF188 00000001
                                291CF178 00000003

This will make it so all four warriors will have infinite magic and specials. Just wish I knew where the HP/hearts values were stored...
