I'm looking for the code that can actually change what type of enemies you want to encounter. Similar in Pokemon for instance, if you only want to fight a weedle in a random encounter all the time then you have to input such modifier code. My bad I didn't be more clearer in the previous post.

    Yes it's a PSP game.

I looked everywhere myself for this specific code and I don't think there is one yet

Would you, by chance, need this enemy-modifier code to complete your bestiary? If so, then I've already tracked down something even better--a 100% bestiary code.

        UPDATE: Here's the code:

        _C0 Bestiary 100%
        _L 0x2000e80c 0x00000000
        _L 0x2000e834 0x53E00005
        _L 0x1000e840 0x000007E7
        _L 0x2000e9a4 0x00000000
        _L 0x2000e9cc 0x53E00005
        _L 0x1000e9d8 0x000007E7

I need to know if this code would do what you want to do on your game. If not, tell me. I can't just be left high and dry...unless you want me to do all the leg work and hack your game for you. What fun is there in that? You wouldn't be participating. I'm trying to give you a chance to do so.

I actually have that code but it will only cause you to have 999 entries for each monsters fought and its not what I really want lol and I dont want all entries for the enemies I havent actually killed before, I am only after a specific monster entry that is missable after a certain point in the game. I wish I know how to hack myself ahahaha believe me I wouldve done it already If i knew

I apologize, but I don't have the time you seem to think I have to find this particular monster of yours. I work the night shift at a local hotel (7pm to 3am; by "local" I mean five miles away...by bicycle--I don't drive). Thus, not only do I not have the time during the night to find your monster, but I also have to sleep during the day, as I am human, despite what my avatar might suggest (as well as my hacking skills...heh heh).

I would, however, suggest consulting an online guide for this game (if one is available; otherwise, consult the guides for the original PSX games), regarding the location of the monster you want (or, how to trigger its special random battle, if needed).

I'm going to try to hack a few cheat codes for Def Jam: Fight for NY--the Takeover for PSP. This is a truly remarkable game for being so early in the PSP's production cycle (this game was released in 2006).

A really BIG plus, in my opinion: it was made by AKI, the same company which produced the stellar WWF: No Mercy for N64. Sure, No Mercy had an annoying save-deleting bug in early copies, but it was quickly addressed, something THQ and Yukes never did (well...hardly ever).

A couple of the codes I could possibly find are:

--Unlimited fighting style choices (so you could possibly end up having all five fighting styles, as well as three of each!)
--SUPER maxed-out attributes (instead of capping at 100, they'd be set at 255!)

UPDATE: Screw the fighting styles--that would be really hard to find how to get unlimited fighting style choices, since I only get maybe two unknown-search steps in before I run out of style slots (you can normally only assign 3). As for the 255 stats--well, I DID find those (they were really easy to find...for once, a game decided to be cooperative ). I've yet to see just how powerful it would make your character, but I'd imagine it would blow everyone away, due to all 100's making your character into something of a tank already. I named my newest character "D-BUG" as a playful jab at being a "hacked" character (D-BUG...debug...I think you get it).

As for those codes, here they are:

                Max Upper Strength
                0x0121CDF8 0x000000FF
                Max Lower Strength
                0x0121CDFC 0x000000FF
                Max Grapple Strength
                0x0121CE00 0x000000FF
                Max Speed
                0x0121CE04 0x000000FF
                Max Toughness
                0x0121CE08 0x000000FF
                Max Health (HP)
                0x0121CE0C 0x000000FF
                Max Charisma*
                0x0121CE10 0x000000FF

*Charisma is NOT increased by going to the gym (Stapleton Athletics). You have to earn Charisma by winning fights, getting lots of tattoos/bling, and progressing through the story mode. This code could change all that...heh heh.

                  Proof Google is a Troll

                  This proof is twofold:

I tried to locate the true unlock-all-characters code for Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team (yes, the code DOES exist), but Google trolled me--TWICE--by giving me only the following two red herrings:

                  1. Lots of links to the earlier, incomplete version of the code (which leaves about 16 characters still locked)

                  2. A link to where I can purportedly download a text file containing the true unlock-all-characters code. The only problem--the download link is dead!

To de-troll Google, I'm asking for my fellow members' help in tracking down the true unlock-all-characters code (so I can finally put this issue behind me--I'm tired of relying on gamesaves as being the only way to truly unlock all characters at the start of the game).

I've found a couple of cool mods of DBZ: TTT that have some cool texture remaps (such as Krell/Cellin as one of Krillin's alternate costumes, as well as SS4 Broly! w00t!), so I'd like to be able to have access to these characters from the start of the game.

Here's proof that I just fed Google to Cthulhu (and that the meaning of life really IS 42 because potato):

                  PERFECT Unlock all characters (ULES-01456)

                  0x6027F8C8 0xFFFFFFFF
                  0x00020001 0x00000184
                  0x6027F8C8 0xFFFFFFFF
                  0x00020001 0x00000188
                  0x6027F8C8 0x0000003F
                  0x00020001 0x0000018C

                  PERFECT Unlock all characters (ULUS-10537)

                  0x6027F708 0xFFFFFFFF
                  0x00020001 0x00000184
                  0x6027F708 0xFFFFFFFF
                  0x00020001 0x00000188
                  0x6027F708 0x0000003F
                  0x00020001 0x0000018C

Also, I found out that there was a weird side-effect to the "Have all Potara purchased" code--it permanently sets your D-points to a rather arbitrary value (1,031,971) for some reason. Disabling this code removes that effect. Plus, the infinite D-points code (to set your D-points to 9,999,999) ONLY works on a brand-new game save (AFAIK). However, I've got those issues ironed out (or so it seems).

ANOTHER UPDATE: It seems I've found ANOTHER issue: incorrectly ported codes (as in, not even ported at all). The code(s) which are supposed to give you infinite Ki on the overworld map do so on the US version, but not in the PAL version...because they're the SAME. EXACT. CODES. This is apparently the result of plain old laziness (and a quick copy-paste job along with an obvious assumption that the codes would still work on the PAL version of the game).

I would really like to know how to find pointer codes, as it would be a tremendous help in tracking down the real unlimited-overworld-Ki code for the PAL version of DBZ: TTT.

YET ANOTHER UPDATE: Found the NTSC-to-PAL offset for the code for unlimited Ki during overworld map segments. However, I've since deleted this game (as well as Def Jam Fight for NY) from my PSP, because both seemed to enjoy freezing at random. Game freezes are my absolutely BIGGEST video game-related pet peeve (even above cheap/unfair AI). Game freezes are the number one reason I've actually destroyed handhelds and consoles out of sheer frustration.

Thus, to salvage what's left of my PSP, I deleted both games, and will not resume playing them unless a way can be found to eliminate all possibility of either game freezing entirely at random (or was it out of spite?).

Perhaps the one game I've brought under the most complete control is SmackDown! vs. RAW 2011, due to being able to directly control how cheap the AI is, as well as discovering exactly what wrestlers were causing random game freezes.

Here's a hint: many of them no longer work for WWE cough*ReyMysterioJohnMorrison&EvanBourne*cough.

As for that overworld code, here it is:

                  Unlimited Ki on Overworld Maps
                  _L 0x602EF908 0x43480000
                  _L 0x00020002 0x0000009C
                  _L 0x200008C0 0x00000000

Found out that the reason I was having trouble on DBZ: Tenkaichi Tag Team could very well have been twofold:

                    1. I could have just been playing the game using the install data (and not the original game).

                    2. I was playing a MOD of the install data (rather than the actual game).

Those two mods I was playing were pretty cool (one of them had my all-time favorite character, SS4 Broly), but I had to delete them due to the increasingly frequent game freezes.

                      Super Mario War: Become Immortal!

That's right--this little gem of a game is now graced with the presence of a CWCheat code!

                      Player 1 999 lives/points

                      0x101C4EB0 0x000003E7

Please note that to play this game, you will most likely need a program called eLoader (which loads older, kernel-based games like Super Mario War and possibly Infinitycat).

I tried to find other codes for permanent powerups/starman, but the darn game keeps changing the addresses on me in between matches...and sometimes even during the course of a single match!

As old as this game is, it uses blasted POINTER CODES! Ugh...

It finally happened--cracked my PSP screen due to the sheer frustration of a certain game freezing entirely without warning. I've already stated that game freezes NOT caused by something I did are the absolute BANE of my gaming existence.

As such, I've decided to completely put the PSP behind me, and move on to other handhelds (DS and 2/3DS, I'm looking at YOU ).

I'm looking forward to conquering Sm4sh as Mewtwo, who is actually an upper-tier character now, something the psychic powerhouse has never enjoyed before (outside of Brawl mods cough*projectm*cough).

I also want to look into getting Lego Jurassic World when it is released. I've heard that you can play as dinosaurs in the game (including raptors! w00t!), and am looking forward to seeing Dennis Nedry's face as he stares, terrified, into the cold, glaring eyes of his fate at the hands of a hungry dilophosaurus...who was only PRETENDING to be friendly and playful...heh heh.

Wouldn't be breaking the PSP screen in the first place if so many blasted games didn't "suffer" from freeze issues. (I put the word suffer in quotes because it seems as if games don't actually suffer from freezes--they seem to rather enjoy it, because of their trollish nature.)

Here is a list of my pet peeves when it comes to video games, in order of their intensity (first one is the most intense, then reducing in intensity as I go down the list).

                            1. Unexpected game freezes
                            2. Cheap/unfair AI
                            3. Lack of codes
                            4. The sheer number of websites hosting fake/non-working codes
                            5. Difficulty hacking codes for games with few/no codes
                            6. POINTER CODES! Blecch...

All in all, not a very long list, but I feel a lot of my fellow hackers share some (if not ALL) of these pet peeves.

And...I don't consider 12 dollars "dirt cheap"...at least not yet (haven't received a full, 2-week paycheck yet). I was wondering two things: if there was a site selling replacement screens for around 3 dollars or so, and if you can use a PSP 2000 screen in a PSP 3000 (so I can hopefully eliminate the telltale scanlines).

                              "It's ALIIIIVE!"

                              *In maniacal Dr. Frankenstein voice*

That's right--my PSP is up and running...again. I broke down and decided to order another screen (which I accidentally broke anyway...good ol' Mr. Murphy, eh?), then traded my broken-down laptop (hard drive crashed...Mr. Murphy again), and bought ANOTHER PSP 3000, and cannibalized it for parts. Then, just today, I bought a (pretty much) brand-spanking-new laptop...for 111 dollars. Here's the real clincher: it's a Windows 8.1, TOUCH-SCREEN laptop, with a dual-core processor, 4 GB of RAM, and a 500 GB hard drive. Absolutely BEAST.

I just might try my hand at hacking some PSP, GameCube, Wii, and other consoles' codes...eventually. I'll need to buy a controller first, though.

Just purchased a 2DS yesterday on the way to work, and am anticipating buying Sm4sh (and Mewtwo and Lucas! suh-WEET!), and maybe finding a way to poke around in the cart's files using Spider (if I can ever figure out how that thing even works! ).

Codes I'd love to find would mainly involve editing the effects badges give you (who knows? Maybe even give you more stat boosts than just the main three they normally target...after all, there are SEVEN attributes used in Smash Run).

Also, I'd love to be able to use custom characters in All-star mode, as well as the various Stadium modes.
