That's why I posted this thread... to help people out and inform them of emulators that they were unaware of.

Try the TurboGrafx-16/TurboGrafx-CD emulator Turbo Engine 16 v0.32. It's a nice alternative to Ootake and Magic Engine.

You can download it at it's official website:

This is the most accurate Game Boy / Game Boy Color emulator. It is an accuracy-focused, cross-platform emulator. It is based on a few thousand corner-case hardware tests, as well as previous documentation and reverse engineering efforts. The emulator is called:

          Gambatte 0.5 (SVN 309)

Download it at it's official website: http://gambatte.sourceforge.net/

This is the "bsnes" of the GB/GBC emulators. That's how accurate this emulator is.

The Game Boy / Game Boy Color emulator TGB Dual newest version, TGB Dual Vol. 8.3.1, was only available in the Japanese language. Previously, if you didn't understand Japanese, you had to use an older version of TGB Dual that had been translated to English, which is TGB Dual Vol. 7 (Build 2053). But recently, an English translation was released for the newest version TGB Dual Vol. 8.3.1. This English translation was not released by the emulator's author nor was it released on the emulator's official website. The English translation was quietly and obscurely released by a third party. This release has not made it to any emulator or ROM website. I don't even think undergroundgamer has this translation yet. So if you are interested in this english translation, let me know.

By the way, TGB Dual is used by gamers who like those Pokemon games because the emulator allows them to do things that are not possible in other GB/GBC emulators. Such as...

"TGB Dual is the first and only Gameboy Color emulator that supports / simulates / emulates gb link cable that enables you to connect 2 roms on one PC or over the IP network and trade pokemons from one emulator game to another or play gb and gbc multiplayer roms"

I have never used the rewind option in any of the emulators because there are such a tremendous amount of useful codes for each game that It doesn't need the use of the rewind or savestates!

It's not hosted on any website that I'm aware of, otherwise I would have posted the link. But Private Message me your e-mail address and I'll send you it.

                          Nestopia lives again...

Nestopia is back from the dead!

The moment people have been waiting a long time for is finally here... Nestopia is back baby. A lot of bugs have been fixed and improvements have been made already. The emulator core is in pretty good shape already, so most of the improvements will be related to user-friendliness and modernity. Support for the BSDs is coming up, and there is a libretro port in the works. The Windows version is also being maintained, and will receive any updates to the core that may come, such as support for more mappers.

The new updated emulator is called... Nestopia Undead

Download this emulator at it's official website: http://0ldsk00l.ca/nestopia.html

                          The GIT website is: https://github.com/rdanbrook/nestopia

Oh by the way, I changed the title of this thread to better reflect it's content. Originally it was titled something like "Snes9X and Gens both with REWIND support." But as time went on, I added additional obscure emulators that most people might not have been aware of. Thus is the reason for why I changed the title to this thread.
