RIP.... GSCentral.org, just same as with original GSCentral.com before...

So now we get to say Rune killed GSCentral twice.

All that time and effort he put into that website, and now it apparently really is dead forever... what a shame. I did a quick search and could not find any update on the website of it's future status. I would have thought there would have been some kind of message on the homepage informing readers what was going on. I never would have thought that Rune would have let that website die.

A few months ago I talked to Rune asking what exactly happened. He told me that the code database will be back as soon as Dave has given it to him. But the problem is that he has "disappeared".

Dave wants me (Rune) to do the hosting but once I told him I was ready to host, he has disappeared. So I suggest contacting Dave at [email protected] and ask him to revert the vB4 boards and bring back the database.

Other than that, there is nothing I can do until he does the transfer of GSCentral.

Yeah, I remember reading that. So I guess the status is still the same. So if Dave doesn't come through, then Rune is shiit out of luck. And by the looks of it, it doesn't seem likely. He would have reached him by now if it was going to happen. Looks like Dave is permanently ducking Rune.

Hey, I've tried now to load any of the NES code page, but instead list of the games, I still get this error only (it exist for near an year, and it's still not fixed at all):

I found GSCentral.org seems is dead now - I clicked on its Google result and my Mozilla Firefox 34.0 simply display an error it can't find neither main website or its forum! Seems site went down and no longer exist... I could was able to load only a Google's cached copy of its forum taken at January 6th 2015... In screenshot attached below Mozilla Firefox's displays error in Bulgarian (Because I live in Sofia, Bulgaria), which actually says Mozilla Firefox can't find GSCentral.org website at all.

However, in Nintendo NES and Sega Genesis section on GSCentral.org there was a some awesome codes by a few members like @bitmaster (I can't remember his exactly username) that unfortunately aren't present on GameHacking.org's database, and since GSCentral.org's database went broken on last hacker attack and now site appears like it doesn't even exist anymore, these codes being available only on GSCentral.org's code database but not inside the our GameHaking.org's one are now gone and simply lost!

This has happened so many times that I don't even care anymore.

Eventually someone will rehack those codes, in the meantime, you can use archive.org to look for old codes.

You need to familiarize yourself with archive.org; I'm sure most if not all of the pages were archived. Here you go.
