GSCentral.org's forum is HACKED!

I have a registration in GSCentral's forum which have same subject as our site - hacking retro games like NES, Sega, Sega Genesis, GameBoy, Nintendo64, how and newer platforms like NintendoDS, Playstation PSX, Playstation 2, Nintendo Wii, etc. Their site itself also have database with GameGenie, GameShark, PAR, ProActionReplay and etc. codes for these game systems as database on our website. Normally, GSCentral's forum have a similar look to our forum (it also is hosted by vBulletin). Today I tried to view new posts in it, but instead I got that shown on attached screenshot with label "Defaced By SweZape HACKED", with playing a music. Same screen appears also when I click to their home page. Seems, everything on GSCentral.org site except their code database displays the screen noted above.

I now visit GSCentral.org - it's longer back online. Seems their administrators are removed hacker's page successfully and their forum and site are back online.

There's a message that he left at the bottom of the screen that say's:

Secure your site next time.

Sorry for the inconvenience...

But this is the best way to get your attention.

What I don't understand is why would someone care if some random website is secured or not?

Today I found that GSCentral.org is hacked again! http://gscentral.org/updates.php Their forum this time is completely offline and doesn't load - it displays only a message "404 Not Found The requested URL /forum.php was not found on this server."

The hacker is living under the façade that he cares about the website's security but then re-hacks the website a second time. So we are not going to follow the same actions as earlier. We would be only fooling ourselves by pretending that the security is sufficient. It is unfortunate that people can be more interested in ruining the happiness of others than contributing positively but that is the world that we live in.

GSCentral will return. The hacker promises to cause harm next time and that is unacceptable. We promise we will never surrender.

I agree. But the thing is, the hacker may have already caused harm.

Seems that the forums have been completely destroyed. Last time I could at least access some threads directly from links I had, now I get 404 Not Found. The site itself has quite possibly been destroyed as well, I get the Defaced by SweZape page everywhere, last time, I was able to view Ninja Gaiden Shadow codes via Google link.

Hopefully a backup of the site was done,we might not all get along at times but this type of action is unwarranted.
