I saw that post too. But I don't understand why someone would post something so irrelevant and pointless. It didn't even advertise anything to the person's benefit. It caused no harm, no self/company benefit, and was only an irrelevant short one sentence. So why would someone do something so pointless like that?

Out of curiousity, how were you able to find out the IP Address? Are IP Address' private information?

Not at all. Administrators can view IP addresses for any user, as can any site manager, for any site you go to.

I don't quite follow his logic, either. I suppose he could always claim that someone hacked into his email account (or took it over after he let it lapse and expire), then spoofed his IP address when registering (of course, they'd have to know his IP address first), and spammed to make him look bad...but that just isn't feasible. More likely, his defense will be that it's our word against his, and that he doesn't know what we're talking about. Perhaps he was hoping we'd ban his Rune account as well, and then he could complain that we unjustly banned him, and made unfair accusations about spamming, as an excuse to get rid of him. I guess it's all conjecture until Rune responds to this thread

Maybe he just wanted to say that he enjoyed the new X-Men movie and that it was good without having any alternative motive or bad intentions.

Right. But he wanted to say it while disguised as Cocaine Koala? Right.

Move your mouse over the smiley face that I posted at the end of my last message to read/see what type of smiley face it is

LB, how come you don't have an avatar for yourself? You can probably find some funny/cool lazy looking people/pictures/avatars on the internet. Google the word "Lazy" and click on images at the top of google. There are some funny pics like the Garfield pic.

I'd rather not associate myself with a specific image. But, perhaps I could make something with just the letters, "LB". We'll see.
