I agree with LB... code suggestions would be OK, but I think it would be a lot more fun to go in any direction you wanted.

OK, the nominees are:
Mortal Kombat 2 (SNES)
Killer Instinct (SNES)
Super Mario RPG (SNES)
So let's 'vote'!
I say, Super Mario RPG. There's a lot more to it than the other 2, so there should be more to hack. Nonetheless, the other two would force us to think of strange hacks, so if not this round, we can perhaps hack them next round.I may be lazy, but I can...zzzZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZ...

Out of those 3, I know MK2 the best. I think I'm a little late, but I suggest we pick a game with few or no codes already hacked.
With that said, I think Mario RPG would be fun, especially since I never got into that one. I do wish I had the cartridge though, but it's a little expensive nowadays...

I think it was also the lack of a decent snes debugger that runs the game.Originally posted by Lazy Bastard View PostI think too much was already hacked for that game...heh.
Next game?
I suggest that the game be nes, gb, or gbc, since those systems have nice debuggers and the games are easier (more fun) to hack.

Definitely need to pick games that don't already have a ton of codes. Faxanadu was a perfect choice... decent game, but not a lot of codes yet.

Clash at Demonhead? (NES). Fun game, not too many codes yet.
EDIT: Wizards and Warriors? (NES)
Blackthorne? (SNES). Hardly any codes, but if I remember correctly, this game is difficult to make codes for.
EDIT2: Ironsword: Wizards and Warriors 2? (NES).Last edited by Tony H; 05-08-2011, 01:04:13 PM.The Code Hut: http://codehut.gshi.org/
