I speak nearly fluently in Russian, as well as Spanish, and a quarter fluency (heh) in Korean. Other than that, I don't have much under my belt in linguistics, though I should learn some more sometime.

Korean? Wouldn't that be really difficult to learn, since you're past the learning languages, you know when you're a kid it's easier? As far as russian, is the girlfriend a mail order from Russia? Heh, if the girl sees this, I didn't mean anything by it.

I taught myself all the languages I know anything of. I love messing with structures in anything, particularly languages and numbering systems, so I'm guessing an intense interest has fueled me through the hurdle that I'm past my adolescent years, heh.

ms_LB happens to be a black chick, from here in Texas, heh. I learned Russian because the structure (and phoenetics of its Romanization) is beautiful. It's perfect. You should check it out sometime.
