I hacked many FF7 codes with the GS Pro; however, some would borf the game after so long, such as the "No Random Battles" codes. And one must be sure of which version of FF7 one is using.
BTW, I have EPSXE up-n-working now, and I'm looking for a code-hacking tool compatible with it. I see several utilities in the database here, but my knowledge of which does what is abysmal. I am open to suggestions.
(BTW, my old PSX with the port that allows for the GS to be connected gave up the ghost, so I'm hoping to hack using EPSXE.)

I've played FFVII on real hardware with the GSPro, so it must work.
The question is, how many and what type of codes are you tryin' to load up?

I think so.Originally posted by kh2k4 View PostYep it seems almost exactly the same as the Xploder apart from the screen change games and codes are exactly the same.
Also what's difference between Xploder and Xplorer?
are the Xplorer's all cartridge based and the Xploder's disc based?

Is it possible to dump the ps1 bios whilst the GS Pro trainer is activated? I mean loading a bios dump cd and have the some dummy game code on to activate the cheat engine, I don't see how it'd be any different to loading a game cd with codes.Attached Files

Managed to restore the background selection on my CDX dongle using the following code with CD Codepatch, AR / GS CDX v3.3 terminates all over cheat engines that's why you have to use CD Codepatch instead you can't use AR / GS CDX v3.3 to cheat on it's self, I suppose it has it's own Anti-AR protection lol
AR CDX v3.3 : Restore background selection.
D00B3A10 0038
300B3A10 0007
If you get a blank black screen without any scrolling background use this to restore it back to the default background, you'll then be able to select the backgrounds as normal again.

Good old cracking group, I remember the intro days good times
Tayan also released a homebrew cheat engine called CD Codepatch v1.0 which wasn't blocked by the ar protections.
