Send it my way but I want to start with the PSX then Saturn if the PSX was successful and see what else might need a redo.

What about the Action Replay 1.20 for GameCube? Datel is through with the GC and I have the ISO as I was the first to dump it also.
Let me know what y'all think.

But that would involve getting pc hardware which making it usb would avoid getting all that. You are correct about needing new hacking tools but that's where someone else will have to help as I have shit programming experience.

I agree too, but keep in mind a new hacking app supporting the "GS" USB would be necessary too.Originally posted by Helder View PostI definitely want to add USB support instead of that parallel port which is next to useless nowadays so looking into getting this all to work and of course getting the required parts will take time and $$$ so things will take a while.
For now it would be easier to just make a new hacking app supporting Parallel PCI and PCI-E, and Win7 x64.

Awesome! I will see if maybe I can reproduce an AR/GS with modern chips and bigger memory then maybe edit the code types but all this will be a while away and not to mention having people help me with the gui when the time comes.Originally posted by Gradius View PostAR/GS schematic is here:

I might just have to go look at my own personal hardware and try to draw a schematic out of it. I have looked at the Game Genie patent files which has useful info which might com in handy.

Not sure if I ever came across any schematics, but I did bookmark this: https://code.google.com/p/modavr/
Shendo updated some of his tools: http://shendosoft.blogspot.com/
jPSXdec is a handy program to have. It allows you to explore and decode various PlayStation files. It requires Java, so keep that in mind: https://kenai.com/projects/jpsxdec/pages/Home
Some compression programs:
ECMa130: https://sites.google.com/site/thatisinlatin/ecma130
Gemc: http://sourceforge.net/projects/gemc/
Various PS1 hardware: http://gamevortex.com/gamevortex/sys...aystation.html
There is another website of interest that I bookmarked long ago, but the name eludes me at the moment. When I find it, I'll post it here. It had info about PS1 protections, or detailed info on certain games that used them.Last edited by Hacc; 08-08-2013, 01:23:25 AM.

If we had someone who could program some chips (depending on the chip I can) with some modified AR/GS OS with more code types I would love to build a PCB if we also had a schematic. Speaking of which I would love to have some Game Genies with more Code Support using the same method mentioned.

I think is time for someone to create a new GS Pro tool able to "see" newer parallel ports like in PCI and PCIe cards.
USB Parallel will never works since they are just for real printers.
AR/GS protocol:

Code example:

The GameShark Upgrade CDs I've accumulated so far are as follows:- Upgrade CD v2.1
- Upgrade CD v2.2
- Upgrade CD v2.3
- Upgrade CD v2.41
- Upgrade CD v2.42 (from lee4)
- Big Wave 2
- Big Wave 3
- Big Wave 4 (from liquidmanzero)
There are other images I have, like the gameboy gameshark code browser, the gba arm (aka arv3/4) disk, Cheats N' Codes v1, a gs sampler, shark link v3.3, gameshark v4, gs2 code archive disk, gs cdx v3.3, gs cdx v3.4, and codebreaker disks v1 and v3.
I'm not sure I want to host any images with the actual gameshark engine, though it may be safe... not sure about that one since they were commercially available.
