Sonic & Knuckles/Sonic 3 & Knuckles - 0 ring Super S
Sorry, I don't even know what you're referring to. :? These are the first Genesis Game Genie codes I've made.
The pages still aren't correct yet.
"AAPT-CAB8" on the Sonic & Knuckles page should say "Don't use up rings to maintain the transformation of any Super/Hyper character", not just "Don't use up rings to maintain the transformation of any Super Character". "NTPT-CA50" still hasn't been removed from the Sonic 3 & Knuckles page. And none of the codes should have the description of "This code has the side effect of norma|izing the behavior of the previous one: when you co||ect rings they are counted as norma|, regard|ess of whether you transform with 0 or with 1+" anymore, since that only applied when I was using the extra 0-ring enabling code.
I've been trying to make code(s) so that you can play as a Super/Hyper and still have it use the original music of the level instead of that repeating Super music, but the closest I came also made it so you weren't invincible anymore. It seems that the Super invincibility is somehow tied into that music, but that can't be strictly true since the music still changes when you reach a boss and once the boss is defeated.
Speaking of which, in the course of trying that I discovered a combo of codes that actually let you remain Super in Sonic 2 once you reach the end of the act and normally change back, but I don't really think they're worth posting.
Anyone have any ideas about getting the original music to play while still staying invincible, though?
