There's nothing to be done except adding another code to the cheat. But Instead of doing that, I just added a note warning players to not purchase any more whips.

    Hacking the same game for too long makes me weary, so I'm going to save your requests and try to tackle them at a later time.

    Thank you again for your continual code testing, Unicode
    I think adding note to your "Buy a Thorn Whip to Receive the Flame Whip Instead" code is best choice. I will wait your reply for my last requests.

    I would like somebody add codes contained in posts #3, #6, #10 and #11 + fix incorrectly added "Hit Anywhere (whips)" and "Hit Anywhere (subweapons)" GG contained in post #1 that was added as one single code in database.

      Done.
      Not taking any requests at this time.

          Not sure you are aware of this but you can add your codes to the site yourself as I made you part of the hacker group so go to the game page and add them codes!

            Cool, added 'em.

            BTW, the first code I submitted, "Double Weapon Distance For Everyone (Fire Rod power)," comes up as being hacked by "2-D" and I cannot edit it.

                Code:
                River City Ransom (U) - NES

                Coins Don't Fade Away
                SUXZNYVY
                Note: Coins will keep bouncing until you pick them up. You can also prevent new enemies from spawning by keeping coins bouncing on the screen, which makes avoiding areas and weapon collection easier.

                Collect Coins Easily (expanded collection radius)
                GPOSAKAA
                PPXITKAA

                Remote Control (almost) Everything
                SXVSPSSU
                Note: Use the directional pad to control moving enemies, straight-flying weapons, & townspeople. More of a novelty than a cheat. To control only thrown weapons, see "Remote Control Weapons" in the Weapon Codes section.

                Screen Scrolling Threshold Is Set To 1/3 Instead Of 1/4
                IIEVLPAG
                IIUVZPAG
                UZOTIPEK
                UZUVIPEK
                Note: Normally the game starts scrolling the screen when you are 1/4 of a screen's width from the edge, which often makes it hard to see enemies until it's too late. By making the screen scroll at 1/3, this cheat allows you to see approaching enemies sooner than usual. One player only.

                Screen Scrolling Threshold Is Set To 2/5 Instead Of 1/4
                TTEVLPAG
                TTUVZPAG
                XPOTIPEK
                XPUVIPEK
                Note: See note for "Screen Scrolling Threshold Is Set To 1/3 Instead Of 1/4." This cheat allows even more advanced warning of approaching enemies.

                Screen Scrolling Threshold Is Set To Center
                EAEVLPAG
                EAUVZPAG
                EAOTIPEG
                EAUVIPEG
                Note: See note for "Screen Scrolling Threshold Is Set To 1/3 Instead Of 1/4." This cheat sets the scrolling threshold to the center of the screen. Allows for more advanced warning than the 1/3 and 2/5 cheats, but might be annoying to use, depending on your preference.

                Don't Lose Weapons When Hurt (affects everyone)
                AEVZITAG
                Note: If you kill an enemy that is holding a weapon, the weapon will disappear.

                Pick Up Weapons Easily (expanded pickup radius)
                TAXIYZTE
                ZPUIIZAO

                All Weapons Fly Straight When Thrown
                AAVZKGYA
                NYXLZOIE
                Note: This causes tires, crates and trash cans to soar linearly.

                Straight-Flying Weapons Fly Faster
                EZVUAZAL
                Note: Works great with "Superfast Attacks" and "All Weapons Fly Straight When Thrown."

                Straight-Flying Weapons Fly Slower
                IPVUAZAL
                Note: Works well with "All Weapons Fly Straight When Thrown." Might improve your batting.

                Remote Control Weapons

                SEKNOPAE

                NVKNSPAA
                SSKNVPAA
                AVKNNPAA
                Note: Use the directional pad to control flying weapons in midair. They will keep flying until they hit a left or right-hand wall. Uses "All Weapons Fly Straight When Thrown."

                Jump Lower and Faster
                ELOXUZEE
                Note: Scaling fences will require a running jump.

                Note: Works well with "Jump Lower and Faster." Do not combine with "Better Jumping."

                Jump Much Higher
                PEXZSZIE
                PEXXOZIE
                ZEXXSZTE
                GEUZOXAE
                Note: Works well with "Jump Lower and Faster." Do not combine with "Better Jumping."

                Better Jumping
                TEXXOZIA
                YEXXSZTA
                Note: A walking jump is now higher than a standing jump, and a standard running jump is a little higher than it used to be. Works well with the "Moon Jumps" and "Jump Lower and Faster" cheats. Do not combine with the "Jump Higher" & "Jump Much Higher" cheats.

                      Some enhancements for another classic. The scrolling speed codes might not be too useful, and they lead to a bunch of distracting starts and stops, but it was a fun experiment anyway

                      This is one of those games that desperately needs a remake. Something with a more complex overworld and 2.5d graphics...

                      Code:
                      Guardian Legend, The (U) - NES

                      Destroy Any Solid Block In Overworld
                      AAXEASPA
                      Note: This doesn't include temporary blocks around mini bosses.

                      Destroy Any Solid Block In Overworld + Blocks Break In 1 Hit
                      AAXEASPA
                      EUKEAIEY
                      Note: Doesn't include temporary blocks around mini bosses. Certain blocks like door covers and item boxes will require more than one hit from your weapon.

                      ~ [B]Spaceship Codes[/B] ~

                      Spaceship Can Shoot Primary Weapon in All 8 Directions
                      EOXELGAI
                      Note: Works pretty much like when in humanoid form: your projectiles are shot in the direction you are moving. The difference is that when motionless, your projectiles will be shot upward (default).

                      Spaceship Can Use Secondary Weapons in All 8 Directions
                      EOVATYAI
                      Note: Works pretty much like when in humanoid form, the exception being that when not moving, all weapons assume their upward status (default). Not all weapons are supported, but the ones that work are pretty cool (check out the 1st laser sword).

                      Spaceship Wraps Around Screen Edges Horizontally
                      ESSENIEL
                      ESVEOIEP
                      Note: If you go out the left side, you'll come out the right, and vice versa.

                      Spaceship Wraps Around Screen Edges Vertically
                      ESUEOIEL
                      ESKAUIEP
                      Note: If you go out the top side, you'll come out the bottom, and vice versa. Note that at the bottom of the screen your spaceship will be obscured by the HUD.

                      Spaceship Wraps Around All Screen Edges (toroidal mapping)
                      ESSENIEL
                      ESVEOIEP
                      ESUEOIEL
                      ESKAUIEP
                      Note: If you go out of any side, you'll come out of the opposite one. Note that at the bottom of the screen your spaceship will be obscured by the HUD.

                          Yeah, I used to enjoy it a lot, too. Even beat it once. Never knew about that special password though... heck, I didn't even know about its all-corridor mode until a couple of years ago. I still consider it one of the best shooters I've ever played.

                            Hi, @BeyondTheStatic, I know you're may be done with Super Mario Bros. 3 for NES... But I want to ask: you can make a codes:

                            1. Can Carry More Than 28 Items In Your Inventory (There are a LOT of power-ups you can get in the game and inventory often isn't enough to storage everything, though I think this code may is difficult for making);
                            2. Can Collect Up To 255 Extra Lives Instead Of 99 (Really there are a LOT of Extra Lives in this game that Mario / Luigi can get);
                            3. When You Bash A Block Containing A Super Mushroom / 1-Up Mushroom / Invincibility Star Power-Up, It Always Goes To Mario/Luigi, Instead In The Opposite Direction (i. e. never happens if you stand of left side of block, Power-up goes to right, or if you're standing right, the power-up goes to left);
                            4. Invincibility Stars Lasts 2x As Long / 3x As Long / Until You Complete Current Stage (Normally they lasts for slightly short time);
                            5. Get The Frog Suit / Hammer Brother Suit Instead Of Super Mushroom In Toad's Houses;
                            6. Get The Tanooki Suit Instead Of Super Leaf In Toad's Houses;
                            7. Replace Normal Goombas / Green Koopa Troopas / Red Koopa Troopas / Pirahna Plant With Their Giant Versions - Giant Goombas / Green Gargantuan Koopa Troopa / Red Giant Koopa Troopa / Pirahnacus Giganticus appearing in World 4 "Giant Land";
                            8. Take Any Door To Beat Maze Fortresses In Worlds 3 & 8.

                            Thanks you in Advance!

                              I think we had this discussion already but why would you want 255 lives instead of Infinite Lives or 99 Lives... What's the point? Just curious.

                                I can see why somebody would want this. Major cheats (like infinite lives) can often ruin the gaming experience: by removing any challenge in a game you also remove the fun, since you're no longer worried about playing skillfully.

                                While I might occasionally post major cheats, my favorite codes are those which give you only a slight edge, or ones that improve or tweak the gameplay, or ones that do new and wonderful things.

                                However, some games are so friggin difficult that I can't imagine beating them without major cheats (Solstice is a good example).
