    • I'm slightly interested in hacking SNES, but I lack one to test any codes I might make.

Few questions if anyone doesn't mind asnwering:
Are there any games that haven't been hacked yet?
Are "GG" (Game Genie?) Codes ASM Codes for SNES and NES or just NES?
Any tools I should know about before attempting to hack this (emulators, debuggers, code searching tools/ram viewers)?
Any ASM Tutorials for these older consoles (I only know ARM9 ASM for NDS)?

I might have a few more, but if these could be answered I'd appreciate it.

      • Jesus Christ.... I'll be more careful next time. I can't believe I wasted my time hacking codes already on the database.

Demonic, I'm not an advanced code hacker, but I just use SNES9X (the version done by the TASVideos guys) because that's the version that uses the same RAM Search/Watch as FCEUX.

          • GG does stand for game genie yes they are ASM hacks (ROM vs RAM) for the systems they came out for (NES, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, Game Gear)
for snes i personally use Geiger's snes 9x 1.43 i find other snes 9x versions are unstable

as for tutorials check our library

                              • Goemon = Robin Hood.... He steals from the rich and gives to the poor. Some people hated him, while others loved him.
