I hack any game that I want to beat. I'm already done with SNES done, I moved on to PC Engine. But I usually just do simple stuff like Infinite Energy and Invincibility.

6)Execute Moves (Execute moves without input buttons)

10)Background music Modifier
11)Character Modifier
12)Item Modifier
13)Item/Cash Amount Modifier

Which are the ones are so called advanced hacking codes?

1)Hit anywhere <-- advanced. So advanced or complicated that only Nolberto seems to be doing them.
2)Walk through wall <-- advanced.
3)Instant kill <--- 1-hit kills? If the enemies have energy bars then those are easy, just find the energy values of them like you would find the energy values of your player.
4)Respawn items/enemy <--- Advanced.
5)Control enemy <--- Very Advanced.
6)Execute Moves <--- Very Advanced.
7)Teleport location <--- Very Advanced.
8)Skip level <--- Moderate.
9)Palette Hacking <--- I have no idea.
10)Background music Modifier <--- I have no idea.
11)Character Modifier <--- Moderate.
12)Item Modifier <---- Depends on the game, but it shouldn't be too hard.
13)Item/Cash Amount Modifier <--- super easy.

Most of these are only advanced if you see them as such. A lot of these are hacked by people throughout the community, and would be rated at different difficulties depending on who you asked. Also, you you have never hacked any of these advanced types, so how can you rate them at all?

This is only due to your lack of motivation to learn. To become knowledgeable about these things you at least have to try...

I have hacked some advanced codes like those, but by pure coincidence. And the reason why I can rate them as advanced or not is due to my own experience, which is the only one I can use as reference. Silentkiller did as for my opinion, after all.

I am not interested in learning anything more advanced because I only make the codes I need to finish a game. The only reason I'm posting the codes here is because I don't want them to go to waste and they can be helpful to other people, but it's neither a hobby nor interesting for me to make codes. I leave the advanced stuff to genius individuals like yourself.

I only done one advanced code
1)Executing moves (executing moves without input buttons combinations) (e.g streets of rage series).

This kind of code seems to be uncommon.

Many of the "Advanced" codes on that list can be easily made with some of the great tools available like Abystus' Branch Finder which simplifies and speeds up the making of Walk Through Walls and Hit Anywhere codes as well as others. These codes are usually made by finding the branches and altering them to always branch or not.

Sadly, tools like this get neglected because people seem to prefer the typical RAM code over the more advanced ASM code. I guess ASM just isn't their cup of tea, but it would be good to at least take a sip...

Advanced ASM code isn't my cup of tea
