Yeah it's supposed to use a cheat searcher, and as for getting games, once you get ahold of an ISO and some music files, and a good cue sheet for the game, it's a cinch to burn.

Now that I think about it I should have just named this thread Bloodreign's cheat requests thread.

Yeah, I guess the title don't really matter. Like the CVDforums the topics here sometimes deviate and go off topic. So is there anyway to play games in the emulator without burning a cd? Cause I would prefer to do things that way. Whenever they come out with that Magic Emulator with cheat function you should hook me up with that and a place to get the roms n sounds and I can get you codes for them. That is if the cheat searcher is any good. I've tried doing cheat searches for VirtualBoy (Red Dragon) and I wasn't able to come up with a single one.

Daemo Tools is a great thing to use to mount a cue sheet on, that way it makes a fake drive which ME then reads as a real one, meaning the game becomes playable without having to burn it. I've so far gotten all of my PCE Duo ISO's off of Emule, I don't run into too many bad ones there.

And to think I've come up with yet another game, god I'm crazy....... the game is after Rainbow Islands Gameboy Color , it's Parasol Stars, yet ANOTHER sequel to Bubble Bobble. It came out for NES, PCEngine (hu-card), and Amiga (I think Atari ST too), instead of catching enemies in rainbows or bubbles, you collect bubbles, and shoot them out of an umbrella.

That's two more projects right there:

        1) Rainbow Islands GBC
        2) Parasol Stars NES and Gameboy (I've seen the ending for the Amiga version but the PC Engine version slays me with it's 3 continie system, damn NEC, they do this with a lot of games)

Side note about Parasol Stars, it has been rumored to be an arcade game as well (info here http://www.rainemu.com/zzapraine/issue6/blast.html , but there's no proof it existed but perhaps in a prototype state it's too bad Taito never did it, but here's hoping it appears on Taito Memories Volume 2, Bubble Bobble is on pack 1 to be released soon, and Rainbow Islands is on Pack 2, although I have burned the PAL PSX Bubble Bobble featuring Rainbow Islands Pack.

And speaking of CVD, would you happen to be That's Not Luigi there, because the avatar got me thinking, you had returned.

I'll have to remember that Emule thing. Maybe I'll download it tommorrow. How about the Magic Engine? Can I find a crack for that? So I won't have to shell out the 20 bucks or whatever it costs for it.

I probably won't have time to do the codes for the new games now but I'll get to it tommorrow.

Oya, if you want you can mess around with this. It's a area mod I just made for CV Bloodlines. I was thinking of checking the values and seeing if there could be any unused areas in the game. I remember seeing pics of the Beta and I wanna check if there's any of those areas hidden in the game somewhere. But if you want to try it (you probably know the game better anyway) go for it.

Yeah, that's me. I wasn't very popular there so I kinda laid low for a while and came back. I guess you can say I pulled a Eric Roman, but I'd rather leave the past behind me and not reveal myself. I'm just there to talk Castlevania and stuff and would rather my true identity not be known. I'll mak sure to pm you tommorrow on Aol. I got to get some sleep now tho.

If you want to mount disc images, you're probably much better off using Alcohol.

Well as one of the staff members there I'm trying to get the place back in old working order, the inmates seem at times to have overrun the asylum, heh heh. Most of the old crew is at CVR, ICVD, or gone, although a few still remain at RSU.

Im not sure what CVR is. Yeah, it looks like these bubble bobble games were ignored. I never really thought of them as true bubble bobble games myself which is why I never played them. But now that I tried them they seem good in their own way. Here's a few codes I made.

I didn't get to far on Bubble Bobble 3 for nes so I'm not sure if there's any powerups to collect. But infinite lives and invincibility will get you thru the game anyway.

Parasol Stars : The Story of Bubble Bobble 3 (European) - NES
                    Infinite Lives

                    Invinicible
                    005C:02

Same story with the gameboy version of BB3. It looks different than the NES but it seems better in some ways.

                    Infinite Lives

I played this one a little more cause I was familiar with it cause I rented the NES version once. They added the bubble bobble music to this version which I think was a nice touch and made it feel more bubble bobblish. I didn't bother getting codes for all the powerups but I got some important ones. I don't know what purpose the diamonds serve but I imagine they are important.

The diamonds are to get the games true ending, collect seven little diamonds per island fight the boss of the island, after defeat he'll give up a big diamond. After collecting 7 big diamonds, at least in the bigger consoles versions, you'll open up three more islands. In these 3 islands collect all diamonds, beat boss collect 3 mirrors, fight true boss, get real ending game over.

Well, since there is no instances where the ship is completely invinicible (flashing when starting a new life) I guess I can't make any Gradius 2 codes. THere is a shield but thats not complete invincibility cause you can still be killed.

I made these codes but when I went to look at gscentral I saw most of them were already made. But since I made them I'm gonna put them on the site.

Excellent, their weapons codes all give you the ripple laser (ring laser) which is sorry on bosses (modify weapons code at GSC), now that straight laser kicks butt as it has always been able to kill enemies quicker than the ring laser.

And yes I am a Gradius nut. ^_^

So do those codes work on all the weapon sets? or is it just the 1st set. If I need to hack codes for the other weapon sets I could do that. It seems that the option, speed, and shield work no matter what weapon set you choose cause each one uses them. I can hack codes for the other weapon sets if that is neccesary.

No weapons set listed, but I always use the first set in any Gradius title but Gradius V, here's a link to the codes, the weapons modifier is shown here, no matter what number you use for the end part, you still get ripple laser.

Yeah, that's what happens sometimes when people don't thouroghly test codes. I made a few codes for the gameboy gradius game. It's not much but it's a start.
