    1. After doing a step out on
There were many other instruction I was unsure of
    1 09 SOU_TRN 49.00.00.00 00.00.00.00 00.00.00.00 00.00.00.00 (as soon as it was added to the packet view)
I got directed to ROMO: 3C12 1B Animanciacs This for song 1 not 0 in game sound test.

At VRA0 the last two byes are 1E, 1A
    I saved the state then.

    Now what?

Also you said before that you were willing to write a document for extracting SGB music, could you do that so I could finish the other games?

I actually was close to finishing it. I was looking for more secret areas ... I actually thought I could find the Special Zone by beating all four Timed Zones. There may have been a new piece of music...

I tried doing that. Every time I dump an SPC set, I check for fulfilled completeness throughout it. Pagemaster is complete except for the password song.

Now I see in BGB 00, FF, 00, FF and so on in that pattern.

          In hexworkshop, I see 08, F0, F0, F8, F8, FC, FC, 76, 76, 66, 66, F6, 66, 24, 3C, BC

I don't see a match between either of them. What did I do wrong?

Well, I told you what to look for. I checked that one already. Only the internal SGB sound effects were used, not the music. No SOU_TRN occurred in the SGB packet viewer, only SOUND packets.

SOUND packets just request a given internal sound to play. I've already submitted an update to snesmusic containing the looping tunes, but I'm not going to mess with the SFX because there's 47 effects, and 4 main versions of each, with 4 different volume levels each, and it depends on what the game asks for as to which one you'll get. I picked to use the values from the document for the other set of looping sounds, even though it won't account for all looping tone pitch levels you'll see while playing SGB games.

Your error: There were no SOU_TRN packets used. I checked the sound test menu on every tune it had. SOUND for every effect, GB generated music for each music.

I also just checked the password screen. It didn't play music in non-SGB mode either.

Bleh @ you. You only listed 12 songs. I've already gone through it the GBS-hacking route(did so the night I posed that you rip it), and it let me rip 13 SPCs.

This is why nobody gets any credit for it until someone actually manages to make it work.

Also, tell me what the hell this 'music code' you made is? I can tell you're very attached to whatever it is. I only see a DK3 music code on this site, and as I can turn a Gameboy game into an GBS upwards of 3 times in 1 day if I try, I figure I can handle finding music code. I just figured out how to inject APU data into the correct spots in RAM by reading it out of a gameboy's VRAM, so you can't think I needed you for the SNES side, especially when I created a 'boredom hacking' thread just for making music codes. If you think I needed help with the SGB, recall that I made the enabler for the SGB and the SGB2, just ripped about 25 more SPC tracks from the SGB innards, and gave you a brief explaination how I linked a Gameboy to the SNES without the necessary subsystems running to test it explicitly.

Why exactly do I need your help on this? How did you help me with this that should have me being grateful to you? What is it that qualifies you to recieve honorary mention, much less be a co-author of the efforts I've produced?

7E0340?? - This is the universal music modifier code that you used and it was also the first code I made for the SGB at GSCentral. Also can you post save states you used so I can get an idea of exactly what you did? I'll disassemble them for a closer look. I tagged all of the sets. The DK94 voice sample is too high also for Paula's voice, anyway. I don't know what the other voice is. Did I do the debug right for Animaniacs? I do appreciate and respect your work by the way and also thanks for all of this. After this hole SGB database/project is done, my lifelong dream will accomplished.

Edit: You may want to update Hunchback GBS to "Hunchback of Notre Dame - ( : ) Topsy Turvey Games"

GBSs have a 32 character limit. That's why I use shortened names rather commonly. Something you probably didn't know: 7E0341 is the SFX region, 7E0342 is the looping music region(from pandocs.txt), and 7E0343 is the pitch/volume control for both of them.

7E0340 wasn't that hard for me to locate almost by accident. It just feeds the value into 2140 verbatim. That's never a hard one to find.

You've been jumping between which games you're discussing a little as well.

I'm including a copy of a working Animaniacs SPC .zst for ZSnes. It's used with SGB (UE) 1.1.

Ugetab, I guess the answer is a no then? No chance you'll change your mind in the future so I can put my little project to rest?
It's not a big list of games and you'll be done with it in a lot less time than what the music hacking is taking you.

Either someone here really hates me or my project because someone added the word shit into my previous post. why? All enhanced music is loaded all at once when the SGB is first reading the game. Only the Stage Intro songs work and I found a possible unused version of it.

Well congrats, but it's just an error. It was the right idea, and I didn't bother checking for it(as I'd already gotten the number of unique SPCs that was consistent with my investigation of the data), but there is an error that allows a portion of the song to play as opposed to all the channels the song has.

I'll include some similar versions to the one you just posted, as it was just an overflow of the intended usage, using 04 instead of 01 for the song number. The 03 track used 03 I think, and at least didn't use 01 to select it. It'll probably have some errors in it.

                            Also...

That's a negative. I already ripped it all. I can tell you this statement is false.
This is why I don't think you've really earned your spot as a helper. I'll say you're trying, so that gives you the position of 'having potential'. You're doing things wrong, but at least you're trying a bit.

My mistake; I should have said samples were all loaded at the startup. also when I froze the SGB cart while a song was playing in Hercules, the song changed songs. The GBS version of hercules has a duplicate of the main theme and the ending? song is missing. Song 3 is legit. Try the process with all enhanced songs even use the Game Genie code to hear Track 14; the ending song. The sound test does come in handy for this, I suppose. I never used a Gameboy debugger ever.

Hercules: Main Theme is 1. 6 and 7 sound like dupes, but the SPCs are echo and non-echos of the same track. I believe 8 and 9 are dupes because they didn't want to render track 9 in the GBS.

As for 'samples', describe what you intended to mean by saying that.
