Anyone have Saturn PAR hacking experience/Sexy Parodius

I was told by LMZ to check the boards as he mentioned Helder could hack Sega Saturn Pro Action Replay cheats, I need a simple cheat, one for invincibility for Sexy Parodius on the Saturn, need it so I can try and finish the game passing all missions. This way I can unlock the extra stage, then have it to play anytime I need after that, problem is I always fall 1-2 missions short of passing them all, perhaps invincibility will help against silly deaths, for some missions require you have full power to shoot all the objects needed to pass a stage (i.e stage 2, 300 coins, stage 3, 200 women). Any help would be greatly appreciated, and maybe down the line I could ask for a Darius 2 Saturn invincible cheat for shits and giggles.

The Saturn is such a nifty toy/gaming system, it's best stuff never came out of Japan.

It works on the emulator's Action Replay cheats menu so I guess it should work on the real thing?

Got another simple request for whomever has Gradius Deluxe Pack Saturn invincibility cheats for both Gradiuses on the disk, I need to unlock a couple things, one to make Gradius 1 harder, another to see if there really is a stage select for Gradius 2 if the game is beaten within a credit (though that might not work since you can't back out of either game because there is no pause menu for either game, maybe restting the game will work like it did when I opened up the Sexy Parodius special stage, if not I found some infinite lives codes somewhere around the internets), worth a try really.

Also something to give me unlimited credits for Darius 2, I seriuosly need to play around with the stages to try and get good at them so I can hope to someday not use cheats and make it through the game on the 5 continues it gives you.

If you can point me directly to an iso/cue+bin maybe I can take a ganders - the emulator I use (Yabause) has got quite poor compatability so no promises.

Finally got Gradius to work with this emulator, however I don't think Invincibility is a "simple request" for a PAR cheat because there is no flickering Invincibility timer. It could be done with a program code cheat but that would require an emulator with a decent TRACE function to stand a change.
Here's some Gradius 2 (from the Gradius Deluxe Pack) cheats for what they are worth

3606B070 000E		Infinite Lives
3606B096 0005		Always have Maximum Speed (Reduce 0005 to go slower, range 0000 to 0005)
3606B08D 000X		Select Perm Weapon Cursor Position (x = 1 to 5 or 0 for none)

these types of games have a easy way to find the code,just do a search when your alive and when you die do a different to search,and Im sure you know the pattern to follow,some games like this has a alive and dead value,so if you find it just freeze it on alive and your invincible.

Yes, I'm aware of it and I'd already quickly looked for the sprite collision location for Gradius 2 and I found something that was promising in that the ship sprite stays onscreen during the explosion BUT you still die.

The problem with RAM sprite collision location cheats is that they are RAM cheats and generally they only get poked once every frame and a LOT of stuff can happen in that frame which often makes such cheats ineffective as if acts on the collision before the PAR changes the location it's already executing the death routine. Additionally, poking the RAM location with a simple byte write often has the side effect of not being able to have any 'good' collisions for weapon pickups etc. The only way is to use that location along with a decent TRACE function (re: my earlier comment) to make a program code cheat and bypass the branch to the death routine.

Not to mention that some games when using RAM locations for the collision can also handle the sprites status of the characters, so sometimes will be needed more addresses to left characters as they are intended to.
Yabause has built-in cheat functions?

He probably uses artmoney or some other memory search tool,thats what I use to hack codes then do an offset to get saturn codes.I do have a Saturn with a mod chip so I can test them out.

I see, I was planning doing that with artmoney and SSF as I already did with other emus like mednafen.
