    Actually the code still is working and that's the answer to what happens. In the game Superman is supposed to die (as following the story on the comic), but being invincible that can't happens. The code must be disabled in that fight (or at the end of it, can't remember). I'm not sure, but a collission invincibility should do something like that too.

    Nice job ñ_ñ

    Very nice explanation. I'm a bit tired now, but tomorrow I'll play a bit with it to see what can I do with this new method. Thanks and happy hacking .

    Ok, these are the two codes I got doing it this way. Sorry for the delay, was eating.

    Hybrid, there are already invincibility codes for this game in the database, don't bother to look or to post them.

    Raiden Trad (W)
    ============
    AKHA-AA32
    AKHT-AA3J

    How I had a request about this game, I used it to test the method.

    Another test, now I got an almost good invincibility for Raiden Tad, still working so the ship can get items.

    Basically, I start a trace like two seconds before a collission, and let the game run without pressing any key, once the ship is killed I stop the trace. Open it with ultraedit and take a look at the trace, see if you can see the repetitive addresses, and if you find one different, copy a piece of code and make a search of it with F3, if the search keep a pattern till the end of the file, that will not work, now, search with the next piece of loops, the same, untill you see in the movement bar at the right the before reaching the end it breaks the pattern, going straight to the top or jumping a lot more than the usual to below. With right mouse click were the search make the jump on the movement bar and select to go there. Start to look were the code change, you can use excel if you want, to compare two piece of codes, one being were it changes. And then start with the debugger to play a little. As you have experience you will know what addresses can be better suited to play with.

    It looks like a mess, but is kinda easy, took me 5 minutes to find the correct address in Raiden Tad, much more with the codes for shadow dancer as I was seeing how to best implement it to me.

    That's only the way I did it, and with shadow dancer the codes I got, after cleaning a little were exactly the same as three of Pugsy, except one that I used other branch, can't remember now if it was 6600, or 6700. Better use 6000 as Pugsy.

    Once in the debugger is a way.

    Ready, found three of the five codes, but I think I know where it's the one for the bullets and the one for the other bump. Nice, it took me some time, but now I figured an easy way to do it. Thanks Pugsy, great method when all my other fails, more refined than the one I used for FF2.

    So, to backtracking in the code you just use Shift+F11?.
