Thanks for the info. I am using Swamp Magic elf and running it from a usb device. So far, every NTSC J game I've converted codes for from .pnach files to AR V1 format has worked.
Initially the .pnach file that existed for Berserk was not working properly. It was adjusting some values vertically I think and was not enabling 16x9.
So I found a different address for 16x9 using Widescreen Finder tool.
Looks like the USB Mass Storage method is just to automatically boot Swap Magic .ELF?
I also tested your raw code for Berserk and it is freezing at the same location. I tested it on pcsx2 and it runs properly similar to the code I found. I'm guessing you adjusted the addresses based on the existing pnach fromthe most current widescreen pnach archive.
