    So, I got the codes to work out after all! The only downside is that Sophia and Peppita missed out on their initial stats, so they're more behind in HP, MP, STR, DEF, INT, AGI, etc. than they should be.

    http://i.imgur.com/D2WWyie.png

    But regardless, it works out!!! This makes me super freakin' excited and happy aaaah! I just hope the codes will continue to work out for the most part. >.< I'm just bummed out that Sophia is missing out on like, 120 HP and 200 mp, along with her other stats as well as Peppita missing out on 150 HP and 150 MP. Oh well. xD

    Edit 2: Might you have the code for character slot 3, Skiller? What I'm trying this time, is to keep Sophia in the party the second she joins and keeping her in slot 2. I'm trying the same thing with Peppita, but I can't figure out what slot 3 is.

    //Sophia
    //patch=1,EE,000A00C4,word,00000002

    //Peppita
    //patch=1,EE,000A00C6,word,00000008

    I assumed it would've been like that, but it removes any character going into that slot instead. >_<

      Folow the Offset information .. in the first post i put

      0x000 - Slot 1
      0x0C4 - slot 2
      0x188 - Slot 3
      0x24C - Slot 4
      0x310 - Slot 5
      0x3D4 - Slot 6
      0x498 - Slot 7
      0x55C - Slot 8

      umm if the HP code did not work then the code "Turn Off "Main Hash for Checks Hash" is messed up or one of the lines in the HP is not correct since if the check hash is active it will change the values and also if the Values are wrong the game sets to 0. .

        Thanks! That helps a lot. Unfortunately, as soon as Sophia leaves the party from the beginning, she is placed in the party with 1 HP and MP, along with 0 stats. -.- Same with Peppita. This game really likes to make it complicated lol. Ugh. >_< I was able to get to the Aqueducts last night with a party of Mirage, Peppita and Sophia, however, without any errors (outside of requiring after battle XP codes to force them to level up, since end battle hangs in an infinite loop with 0 XP distributed regardless of the battle).

        I found another code of yours

        //on level up amount gained is doubled
        //maximum HP
        //patch=1,EE,20400A9C,extended,0015A840

        //maximum MP
        //patch=1,EE,204010BC,extended,0015A840

        //ATK\DEF\AGL\HIT\INT
        //20401AB0 00021040

        which helps to soften them up and bump them back to normalcy, although it doesn't help tremendously as they're still far behind haha.

        Edit: I tried the max HP thing again, but Idk. 9999 HP is overkill and would take the fun out of the game for me. >_< Unless leveling up from 0 to 1 is supposed to fix that?

          well max HP is exactly what it says .. MAX 9999 :P its not the Final Levels Stats..
          but that would not be hard to do if you can get to max level and tell me what each characters Stats then i could mimic it in the codes ..

          but for now all i would do is Change everything to the Max the line could hold.

            why you are using ,extended, instead of ,word, ?

            as "extended" is exclusive use for advance codetypes like D, E, 4, 5, 6 only

              Ah. I thought you gave the max HP as a workaround for the 1/1 HP and it'd reset to normal after leveling up once haha. What about giving characters their level 1 default stats? Would that be possible? I can pull Sophia's and Peppita's starting stats very quickly, if that is possible.

              @lee4 I use a program call PCSX2CE that puts in codes and saves them easily. It's a lazy, no-hassle program that automatically translates every code into extended instead of byte, word, etc. The codes still work with extended without problems, though. D:

              Edit:

              Sophia
              lvl 1 HP: 120 MP: 250 Atk: 5 Def: 3 Agl: 6 Hit: 6 Int: 20

              Peppita
              lvl 1 HP: 220 MP: 210 Atk: 9 Def: 5 Agl: 28 Hit: 21 Int: 13

              Source: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/53670...-time/45942605

              Even codes to edit slot 1 would be fine enough, as I can move the characters to that slot and adjust as needed.

              Edit 2:
              I found the perfect solution and get-around!

              After adding Sophia and Peppita to the party

              //Sophia Slot 2
              //patch=1,EE,000A00C4,word,00000002

              //Peppita Slot 3
              //patch=1,EE,000A0188,word,00000008

              0x000 - Slot 1
              0x0C4 - slot 2
              0x188 - Slot 3
              0x24C - Slot 4
              0x310 - Slot 5
              0x3D4 - Slot 6
              0x498 - Slot 7
              0x55C - Slot 8

              they start at level 0, with 1 HP and MP including 0 ATK, DEF, HIT, AGI, INT. That's a problem, and they do zero damage in battle and the post-battle victory hangs after completion. But there is a solution to this: Save State + Load State. It's a repetitive and frustrating process, but it works. After plugging in...

              //Max HP Gained x16
              patch=1,EE,E0011021,extended,00400A70
              patch=1,EE,20400A9C,extended,0015A900

              //Max MP Gained x32
              patch=1,EE,E0011021,extended,0040108C
              patch=1,EE,204010BC,extended,0015A940

              //On Level Up: Stats Gained X4
              patch=1,EE,20401AB0,extended,00021080

              you start a battle, finish it, victory! And then you save state before pushing anything upon completion of the battle. Then you hit X (to whatever you have it mapped to), and if the battle just hangs, load state and try again. Do this over and over again, until your added characters level up (they don't need XP to level up! They automatically level up to 1 with just 0 XP alone). With the above stats, it'll balance and round their HP, MP, ATK, DEF, AGI, HIT, and INT to their near respective values. After that, you have the perfect character at level 1, as if they literally just joined your party!

              Many, many, much thanks to Skiller and TidesOfMercy for the tremendous helps! I can finally play and beat this game to my hearts' content! Thank you both so, so much from the bottom of my heart!!!

                120 =
                7DE3F7E3 xor 78 = 7DE3F79B x 2 = FBC7EF36 xor 7DE3F79B = 862418AD Hash for Values = 7DE3F79B Check Hash for 862418AD

                250=
                7DE3F7E3 xor FA = 7DE3F719 x 2 = FBC7EE32 xor 7DE3F719 = 8624192B Hash for = 7DE3F719 Check Hash for 8624192B

                what does Hash for = mean its the Offsets that say Hash for.. u fill them slots so if there is 3 u fill all 3 with that same value
                What does Check Hash for = it means the Hash check offset (use windows Calculator (win7 programmer mode)

                here is an example
                0x34 W = Hash for ATK
                0x38 W = Hash for ATK
                0x3C W = Hash for ATK

                0x94 = Check Hash for 0x34 ATK

                you should be able to follow this to make the values whatever you want

                https://www.dropbox.com/s/bu84m0r7d0...ocean.txt?dl=0

                here is a text list of all slots. u just need to fill in the values

                  Edit:
                  Another method would be using the "Max X on level up" codes, and adjusting the value to your liking.

                  patch=1,EE,20401DDC,extended,2403000D

                  These would be Sophia's and Peppita's level one default values. You'd have to turn on whoever's stats you want first, when they level up from 0 to 1, and then deactivate, save state, activate the next character's codes, and load state until they level up and get their initial stats.

                  I use
                  http://www.geckocodes.org/index.php?arsenal=3
                  to get the values more easily, and use
                  http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/53670...-time/45942605
                  as a reference, as the characters' initial default values are there.

                  Again, thanks to TidesOfMercy and Skiller for making this happen! Have fun, everyone!

                    ya u can use that as well . But for complete and to make the code independent i added all the data :P the exp section i had to leave out do to it making bugs there seems to be statis Effects and EXP mixed as 1 . i will look at that a little later .. but in reality the codes are done and work

                    You can add and set your stats to what you would like

                      Hey Skiller, I have one last question although it's not super important if you can't. 4D is just... insanely difficult. As it should be, but I'm spending 95% of battles healing instead of battling. So I switched to Universe, but now I'm finding battles to be a bit too easy. Is there a possible way to increase enemies' HP, MP, ATK, DEF, INT etc by like, 200% or something? D: I realize I could equip also Gutsy Bunny for this too, however...

                      Also, is it possible to edit Skill Options to add abilities you haven't learned yet? I'm pretty sure adding abilities that belong to other characters would cause all kinds of errors, but to equip a useful ability that you would otherwise learn much later would be neat. ^^

                          Are there a way to hack characters stats too like change there Atk, Def, Agi, Int, and Hit. I tried to use cheat engine and find the value of there stats. When I equip armors to change the def, I found the value of it and I tried to change it but somehow it just stay at it was and I tried to freeze it and it still not changing the value. I tried to use the hash codes that you found, Skiller but still nothing. If you have answer of that, I would love to hear your answer, Skiller.

                            they are Mods .. not to be directly used the ones with 00000000 that is

                            u need to fill in the Values and the checks hash with the value you need

                            using this formula just like it says at the top of the text file on the dropbox link
                            Code:
                            Example of the Math needed to get the Values

                            in game value of 120 hex is 78 = (32bit)
                            7DE3F7E3 xor 78 = 7DE3F79B x 2 = FBC7EF36 xor 7DE3F79B = 862418AD Hash for Values = 7DE3F79B Check Hash for 862418AD

                            For Level 1
                            0x7E93 xor 1 = 7E92

                            Must be on for lower codes to work

                                Somehow the only one that work completely is the character mod but the rest is I tried the HP, MP, Atk, Def, and the rest just turn in to zero like nothing. Please tell what I did wrong. :/
