    Hello gamehacking community!

    So I've been at this for 6 years now, searching effortlessly, and asking once a year for throughout the 6 years. I love this game to bits, but I can't bring myself to beat it a third time. I originally purchased the game when it released, because I thought it'd be similar to Star Ocean The Second Story, where you pick Claude or Rena, in this case, Fayt or Sophia. Turns out you don't, which I was totally fine with playing as Fayt since I was usually Claude (for the Battle Armor pickpocket lol). I just wanted to play as Sophia and Peppita, and I was excited when they joined relatively early into the game... only to leave two battles later. This disappointed me, but I figured whatever, we'll find them eventually and soon.

    Beat the game and was severely disappointed that they join towards the end of the game, when you're already level 40+ and they're 1 each. I couldn't bring myself to take them in my front line. They were underleveled, and it didn't matter to me anymore due to bitter and salty feelings lol. D: I beat the game twice, enjoyed it all the way through, but I can't bring myself to play it a third time because I just want to play as Sophia or Peppita, from beginning to end. :\

    I requested this five years ago, a guy named Kai on another forum was able pull up the codes after a month, giving me progress reports. Then he disappeared for 2-3 months, and returned to say his laptop died, along with the codes. I was really bummed out, because he didn't get a chance to share the codes with me. They worked flawlessly, what he told me, up until the point Sophia and Peppita join, which the game crashes unless you manually remove them. So that gives me hopes that there are codes to add Sophia and Peppita into the party, and it's out there somewhere. So I'm begging anyone out there, if they can, search and find these codes for me. I've tried myself, once two years again, and again this month, but I can't wrap my head around how coding works.

    This guy has made progress, but he's also disappeared too lol. I tried to pick up where he left off, but I don't know where he even began and the game would just give me errors (without crashing or anything) about the codes being invalid. It would really make my day, my world even, if someone could help me out with this. I've been searching effortlessly every year for the past 6 years, and I don't plan on giving up anytime soon.

    TL;DR - Requesting codes to add Sophia and Peppita into the party, at level 1 with their initial stats if possible, as soon as they leave/Fayt enters Pisotto Forest, and keeping them in the party from beginning to end. Link above has a guy making progress, but disappeared.

    I will add my Notes i had a bunch of stuff for this game a long time ago .. i have some notes .. about the Hash values and Hash check values :P for the player areas that should make you add in people.. i will look for it and post back in a bit

    i did a Quick Ps2dis file with a breakdown on how to make codes to effect this area but iv not done any of the Connectors so its more a POC right now i might be able to work on this over the weekend. right now as long as u can put in the right values you could build the hash and hash check that is needed for changing the Values in this game.

      Oh my gosh that'd be so amaaaazing. I will literally freakin' cry if I get to play this game with Sophia and Peppita in my party. T_T You have no idea. You'd make me the happiest person alive. >.<

        At first I was excited, seeing numbers and letters. Then I realized I don't understand what any of that is or means lol. I have absolutely no idea at all what a hash value, or hash check values, are. Do you mean to say you can add Sophia and Peppita into the party, as soon as Fayt lands in Pesotto Forest? At level 1, with their initial starting values? Because if so, oh my god I'm going to cry tears of excitement and joy. T_T

          Aaaah. I guess my reply didn't get approved from a few days ago. But that's awesome! Unfortunately, I know absolutely NOTHING about hash values and hash check values... I'm only familiar with codebreaker, and slightly at that. =( If you're able to make progress, though, that would be AMAZING! I would love nothing more than to be able to play Star Ocean Till The End of Time with Sophia and Peppita in my party, from beginning to end. Even Nel, Mirage and Maria. T_T

            seems there is a pointer that points to the Player 001CA21C .. the 2 dumps i have it points to the player section..

            this address is grabbed when going to the menu. should be able to make something from that :P

            Note this Turns off the Random Hash check that is placed on Offset A8..

            normally you would need to use this value and the Fixed Hash value to make your "Check Hash for" Said offset with the Turn off code it makes it as simple as this

              Nothing happened for me when I tried using the codes. I even tried to use omniconvert to see if I could somehow make a miracle. xD Alas, nothing... I feel dumb. Sorry.

                  I tried, but nothing happened. I'll test out it tonight after work, because when I tried testing other codes (Max Fol for example), my game freezes then crashes so I may be doing something wrong. >-< Even though I own the game, I no longer have the console so I've been using an emulator which accepts all versions of codebreaker so it might be me.

                      Yeah, I've tried another code and it worked. I had to convert them though, with omniconverter, to work. But the codes you provided didn't work for me, as it was or through convert. It said

                          That line is giving me problems, Skiller. Idk why. I use PCSX2CE to put in the codes faster, but the first line always turns itself into

                              Oh my gosh! It worked! My heart raced when it worked! Aaaah! >~< There's just only problem, though...

                              It set Fayt's health to 0/0, and Mirage defaulted at 0/1 HP and MP, with 0 in all stats.

                              I used the machine to heal, but Fayt stayed dead. Mirage went to 1/1 HP and MP. I tried a battle, but Mirage does 0 damage and Fayt starts the battle dead regardless, so it's impossible to win. T_T

                              But it's a step!!!! Oh my gooooosh! I'm so excited!

                              Edit: I tried maxing out ATK, DEF, INT, AGI, etc. and won a fight, but then it just hangs at the victory screen. The game hasn't necessarily froze, as Mirage's hair is still moving with the wind and music is still playing but I can't do anything beyond that. D=

                              Edit 2: So I disabled the Max HP code, and it fixed Fayt not having 0/0 HP. Mirage was added into the party, I used the machine to heal, but battle hangs upon victory and I receive 0 XP every time. I enabled Max XP After Battle, and it fixed the problem of the game hanging there, doing nothing, but now that means I have extremely high leveled characters, which I do not want at all.

                              I'm trying to tinker with the XP code to see if I can just set it to level me up once, to fix Mirage having 0 everything at default. Leveling up seems to fix the stats and health a bit, at least.
