I might buy a v2.0 GameShark online, then just update that, while ripping all of the BIOSes as I update it to each version.

Bricked InterAct Gameshark for PS1

Few things
1. My GameShark isn't bricked anymore, it's now running Zippy 33E. But, I have no way of bringing it back to the GameShark BIOS, because the 2.42 I have won't flash correctly, so I just want to find another version that I have to use if needed.
2. I think you need a parallel cord, a computer old enough with the Parallel Port + the X-Killer software , and X-Flasher running on the PS1. You enable COMMS communication on X-Flasher, plug them both in, and in X-Killer you read it/upgrade/etc. (I think that's how you set it up)
Here is the link to 2.42 https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bxoo...pEblgyc2s/edit

Also I did find a link on the internet of someone's complete extraction of the BigWave 4 disc. It has all the BIOS updates for various regions, the EXEs that run depending on which GS, save files, and the code files. I can send the direct link to the archive file if someone wants that

I have an older computer with XP, and so far I've only gotten my XPloder to work in X-Killer, and my GS Pro to work in GSCC. I can't find an option to dump the rom with GSCC for PSX, only N64, but we already have 3.2 dumped anyway. I have 4 regular gamesharks, 2 of which I believe are bricked, a pro action replay, and a par clone called super game converter.
So, since I have 2 bricked gamesharks (from trying to update them) I also would benefit from figuring out how to flash these suckers without buying a vintage computer with an ISA slot and hunting down a comms card that will work.

Here's one with Ahoy341m, Caetla, GS 2.42, and Zippy33E.
Note that the Licensed screen is corrupt, but it still will boot just fine.

Mine goes to that, but then it does go past.
X-FLASH_1.2B3.zip
EDIT: Here's a ISO that is correctly licensed, and then you can swap the disc with the one that won't boot at the menu of X-Flash, so it reads the correct BIOSesLast edited by neSneSgB; 06-15-2015, 06:11:08 PM.
